Essential Run Non Wired Sports Bra (S-XL)

Awesome bra , felt protected while running. No bouncing

Good support, but digs in around the armpits a little.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've worn this for long runs, short runs, and in the pool. It has good coverage and worked quite well in the pool as a swim top. I felt it is good for short runs since it has a tag on the side that is kind of itchy. For a long run (6+ miles), it chafed a little bit and I prefer other items.

Pros: once you have it on, this bra is incredibly supportive. The clasp lets you really lock in the band fit. I have a narrower rib cage and struggle with finding sports bras that are tight enough at band without being too small in the cups or suffocating (size 34 B-C for reference). This design solves that problem! Cons: the sewn in cups are a bit stiff and that stiffness extends around the front to the part under the armpits. This cut into the tendons just under my armpits just a little, but isn't a dealbreaker for me. Also this bra isn't quite as easy to get on/off as I'd expect for a bra with a clasp. I'm okay with it, but if you have shoulder mobility issues, you might want to proceed with caution. Overall this is a highly supportive bra without the over-designed look of most high support sports bras - well done NB!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bra!! It’s supportive but not compressive. Nothing digs in or rubs weirdly, it just fits really well. I tested it out on a pretty intense speed workout and it held up great - genuinely no complaints. It’s such a good workout staple.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a high support sports bra, compared to regular sport bras it is not as strechy. Fabric is thick but quality is good! I would say true to size, but maybe I could size up and then use the adjustable strap and bands to get it fitter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, I can’t speak to how this sports bra performs during workouts because it was much too big on me. It doesn’t run true to size. For reference, I usually wear the same size in sports bras without cups, but for this one with cups, I would definitely need to size down. That said, the fabric feels really nice and soft and it feels so comfortable. The design looks great. I’d really like to try it in a smaller size, especially since I’ve been searching for the perfect bra that offers full support. This one has a lot of potential!

I have a slightly larger chest so most sports bras are not supportive enough for me but this was very supportive. The adjustable straps helped to ensure that the sports bra fit me correctly.
