Epaulettes Military Coat

This was a good coat which was good value for money except that it didn't fit me. I ordered two sizes but one was too small and the other too big so I cant comment on the wearability of the coat.

It's hard to find coats that are tailored to fit an hour-glass, but slim, figure. This one is spot-on. it doesn't constrict my breasts whilst swamping my waist. Viewing it from side-on is the trick - does it hang down straight down from the chest? No, it's tailored to fit. Hallelujah. If only it was made from wool it would be perfect. It runs slightly large (I had to go for an 8 instead of a 10) and keep an eye out for the quality of sewing - the first one I tried on was shocking - broken threads and wonky epaulettes, but that may have been a one-off. That said, it's a stylish, well-fitted, light to wear, inexpensive coat - probably best for women with larger breasts and curves (or you won't fill it out round the chest and it will look shapeless like in the advertising picture above) and for wearing on milder winter days and into early spring.

Purchased the beginning of December for the winter, to replace a designer coat that had seen better days - this coat is well finished - light in weight- yet very warm. Excellent value for the money and stylish. Definitely worth a try .

Loved the coat from the moment I saw it. I'm usually a 14 but because of the fitted tailoring only needed a 12. Has a nice feel and doesn't pick up fluff. I also liked the satin lining which gave it a classy finish.

I'm tall and slim and this coat has a fabulous cut to fit me. M&S is usually quite generous with their sizes abut this coat is a little bit on a smaller size - I'm usually size 8 but on this coat size 10 fits like a skin. Lovely soft fabric, great quality with a purse friendly price.

Chose black as I thought it looked more expensive than the red. This coat looks and feels good, and is excellent value in my opinion. A perfect length as well. Would have liked some buttons on the sleeves (probably add a few myself) for impact.

I was very disappointed. The front of the coat was 'skimpy' and didn't 'wrap over' sufficiently. It looked good on the model but it did me no favours at all. I have returned it. Sorry M&S.

Ordered this coat in red along with the black Autograph boucle black coat as I couldn't decide which one to buy!!, kept this one - far more flattering, more room in arms to wear thicker jumper underneath, would be happy to have paid more for better quality fabric.
