We love hearing that! It sounds like they’ve hit that "sweet spot" of being light enough for speed but supportive enough for your daily miles.
Great shoe, terrible outsole design

No, I don't recommend this
Bought the London version last week. Extremely disappointed in the outsole quality. The design started to rip literally after the first run which is a problem since the outsole design is wrapped on and not painted on. Once it starts to rip, it'll just get worse. Aside from this major cosmetic issue, the shoe itself is very light and felt great during my tempo run. The fit is just right, some may say it's narrow but it fits me just fine. I wish I bought a different version so the shoe can continue looking good after 200+ miles.

Very Comfortable Ride

I have a slightly wider foot and am a bit of a heavier runner. I’m used to more max cushion shoes but this foam was very comfortable and the grip is amazing. I’ve used the speed 5 on the treadmill, on the roads, and for Hyrox. Everything from recovery runs, tempo work, and up to 8 miles continuous. Can kind of do it all still. Although I do prefer it for Hyrox and some faster sessions. Other than some slight heel slippage on sled pushes this has become one of my favorite shoes. Super fun, light weight, and always look forward to workouts with this shoe.

Best running shoe of all time

I have run in the Endorphin Speed 1 and Speed 2 in the past and these are my favorite of the lineup. What sets the speed 5 apart from previous models is the stability and the durability. They are some of the snappiest training shoes I've worn, which feels great for speedy days, but I've also loved taking them on long, slow runs as well. The plate does a good job of rolling me onto my toes. The lockdown on the upper is perfect. Great breathability. I have put 220 miles on them so far on the road, and I see minimal wear on the sole of the shoe, even with all the exposed foam. In previous models, the rubber partially separated from the foam after about 200 miles, but these are holding strong. Also with the previous models, as they accumulated mileage, the midsole became spongy and unstable, but these are maintaining bounce and structure. I have gotten no blisters on my feet, and there is plenty of room in the toe box. I am a 175 lb runner and these handle my weight just fine. Great job Saucony, please don't change this shoe too much.

I bought these for my son (freshman in hs) for track. It’s been less than a month and the sole is coming off. I need to call customer service during business hours to see if they will do anything to remedy the situation.

I like that these shoes were a better improvement from the Speed 4's however I have Ride 17 that I use from time to time and they give me a better cushioning as well as step off. I would like to see if they can both be implemented in the Speed 6.

I have the endorphins speed 2,3,and 4 - The endorphins 5 are awesome! The updates they made makes this shoe superior to the other models. I se them for tempo, speed runs and occasionally easy runs. I highly recommend them The heel is by far the biggest upgrade for me. My Achilles area use to chaff/blister with the 3 and 4's - The designed it to prevent that from happening with the 5's

These are the first Saucony shoes I have bought and I've been blown away by them. And have been extremely comfortable whether I'm doing long runs for sure, fast or slow. After doing over 200 km with them I've had zero issues

This shoe seems a bit narrow in the toes. I’ve worn saucony for years and have never needed a wide shoe. However, I recommend it for this model.

Awesome Shoe
Originally posted on Saucony
I have been running on and off for over a decade, but never took it that seriously, and never bothered to do any research into shoes. I would often run in regular trainers and not pay too much attention. Last summer, I decided to get more serious about running, in order to run faster and set some new PBs. Eventually I stumbled on this shoe, and after doing some research decided I would give it a try. To my surprise, the moment I got these shoes its like a whole new level of running was unlocked for me. I set multiple PBs back to back to back. It was absolutely incredible. I never knew how big of a difference a shoe could make for speed. I've been running in these shoes for over 6 months now, and put over 500kms in them and they are still going strong, no noticeable decline in speed or comfort. I might be able to get another 500kms out of them! These shoes are a 5/5 for me. That being said in you decide to run a lot more you might want to keep these shoes for your Tempo/Threshold workouts and not use them as a daily trainer. They are fast (which I love), but aren't going to take care of your legs if you run a lot and use them for every workout. Super happy with my purchase.

This is the best running shoe for intervals/tempo I have ever had. It’s fun, reactive and easy to adapt. If you like a more mushy feeling, this is not the shoe for you, but given how stable the ride is, it’s great for the biomechanics. I recently ran the United NYC HM in 1:27 at it was a great shoe!
