Drawstring A-Line Maxi skirt

Lovely colour and style but it's huge. I'm a tall person who never has issues with the length of things, so not sure by this happened! Had to return it as it trailed the floor :-(

What a shame, the skirt is a good quality and value for money but it is so long. I am not short but it covered me and the floor. What a pity that they didn't make this skirt in a midi length. It would have been perfect. Sadly I had to return it.

This skirt is bang on trend and I was more than happy to fit into a size 12 but oh my, the length is way off It was at least 6 inches too long and I'm not short by any means Unless you are at least six foot tall this skirt is no good Such a shame as it was perfect in all other ways

This is a nice versatile skirt but really too long and too big around the waist. At least a size smaller wold have fit better. The drawstring is only for decoration, which is ashamed because it would have solved part of the problem.

Was very disappointed to find, after purchase, that it does not have a drawstring tie, the tie is just for decoration. Liked the skirt otherwise so decided to to keep it as discovered that I can thread a piece of tape through the waistband and make my own drawstring tie. Be warned.

I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter who I bought the skirt for. She loves it, and says It's a good fit. I bought the cerise pink for her and she loves the colour too.

This skirt is so easy to wear perfect for leisure wear or holiday. It washes well and doesn't need ironing which is always a good thing.

Was pleased when I saw these were back in stock on line after missing out before, but really disappointed when I got it. Really large sizing and way too long - I'm a size 14, 5 '5", and was swamped by it. Returned straight away.

Although it says drawstring Maxi skirt it is not. You cannot draw in the waist it is for decoration only.

I purchased this in the Green but found it very big but excellent in length if you are tall. I am a size 18 and bought a 14 as its really big Thought the material ok but if you purchase the pink it really creases

Just the style that I wanted for casual summer evenings, so I bought a black and pink version. Size generous, and pink lovely to wear, although even at 5' 7" I need to wear small heels with it to prevent it dragging on the ground. But the black was at least 3" longer and completely unwearable! Had to be returned. Would prefer to exchange, but can't be sure to get a short version. Manufacturing control needs to be improved. Not entirely as described; the waist is elasticated not drawstring.

Thought this would be handy for summer, very long although I am 5'8". Didn't like fabric. Perhaps on a younger person it would be better.

I am not a huge fan of tiered skirts but plain colour skirts seem difficult to find this year. So I sent off for green and black ones. The are 'okay' everyday wear skirts. The green was fine, touching my shoes -I am 5'7"". The black was too long unless I hitched it up to my bust. Shortening would have made the tiers odd. I decided to have another go and sent for 2 more black skirts, same size as before. Both were shorter than the original so fine for length. Both, like original, were a bit slacker than the green one, also different width to each other. I finally settled on one. I agree the waistbands are roomy but as I sometimes swell a bit in heat I can live with that. I suggest if you are trying these on in a store you try a selection of the same size.
