Cotton Rich A-Line Skirt

I love this! It fits perfectly and is true to size. I am wearing it to travel by air on holiday to a hot country, so it will be perfect, as the fabric is very crisp and cool. Would buy another if they had more colours.

This is an excellent basic A-line skirt for me. The length of size 12 is 24 1/2 inches from top of wasteband to hem, although the actual length has not been specified by M&S for some reason. Why not? The height and size of the model is of no interest to me. The belt is tolerable, but not good. Why not a basic plain colour to blend with the skirt colour? But, I am glad I bought it and will look for others in basic, plain colours in the future. Many of us are looking for tried and tested basic designs for our clothes.

I absolutely love it - I bought 3! Hope they make this cut and style in a winter weight. It is perfect, flattering and comfortable. Also washes like a dream.

I really need a beige coloured skirt and it was difficult to find one so had to keep this even though its big on the waist and I'm hoping that when it's washed it will be more malleable

I bought in the sale the white cotton A line skirt which although I was sent an email to write a review, can only do this via the shopping website. The white A line has the zip at the back and pockets at the front. Very good value in the sale. The stone and dull green A line are heavier material, and not worth £25.00 full price. In my out let store the stone is now £17.00 and they have a large stock. Very disappointed that I bought this last year at full price, but pleased I purchased the white one for £14.00 in the online sale. Would be great to have these practical and flattering skirts in more colours, especially navy.

I like this skirt because it is so versatile - it looks smart with a fairly formal top, but with a tee shirt you get the casual look. It fits well and is a good length. I like a skirt with pockets! An added bonus was £5 off with my Sparks card.

I love this skirt. It's a good fit, great length, nice colour and a lovely feel to the material, lightweight. Some more colours would be nice.

This skirt fits me really well on the waist & hips. I usually have trouble with one of them, so it is nice to find a skirt that I will feel confident wearing. Belt is a nice touch & material is soft.

I bought two last year to wear on a tour to Australia - I like to wear a casual skirt sometimes instead of trousers. The fit is good - if I'm thinner it just sits a little lower on my hips. I've just ordered a third one!

The fit and style of this skirt is fine, felt comfortable and good colour, but like other reviewers the belt really spoilt it for me. I would never wear a belt like that, so why pay for it as part of the skirt? For that reason I returned it .

Lovely flattering style would wear it anywhere.

Thank you at last M & S. I've been looking for this simple style and colour for months now and finally M & S have produced a plain, practical style in good fabric (I've also bought the chino skirt in a slightly darker colour) to go with stripey tops! However please ditch the cheap belts. I have never kept a belt that's come with any M & S product.

Great skirt, easy to wear good guality, would love some more in different colours & maybe slightly longer length. Maybe 26 inches

I normally wear a size 20 but as this is a straighter style I sent for the 22 but it was too small. Worse though was the length, it is claimed the model in the picture is 5' 11" and it comes just below her knees, I'm 5' 2" and it just reached my knees! Hugely disappointing, I returned it and got my money back. Come on M & S, I remember the days when your women's clothing was wholly reliable, good quality, hard wearing and with bright fashionable styles and shades. On a related note, I buy a lot of the T shirts with longer sleeves but why do they all have to be plain? I'd pay a bit more for stripes, dots a boat neck or what ever?
