Beautiful feel
Yes, I recommend this
These looked perfect for me, however did not suit my body shape, so haven't kept them. The downside of internet shopping The material feels great, more expensive than the price.

Great new style
Yes, I recommend this
Wanted to try a new style of cords other than skinny. Normally between 8/10 in M&S trousers but 8 fit best. Lovely soft cord, fit as picture at 5’4”. Only annoyance is the pockets are up by the high waistband and unusable, rather than lower on the side where I feel they should be. Warm and comfy for work with fitted jumper and ankle boots.

Love these!
Yes, I recommend this
Really love these trousers, wish they came in more colours. Fit perfectly and are flattering (I’m a pear shape so was a tad worried but they are lovely on). Only gave 4 stars because I can see over time where maybe you pull them up or adjust them, the cord will mark/fade. Also the little pleat bits at the front mean they don’t lie flat against the stomach/waist but overall fab trousers! Would love them in a dark green or rust!

flattering trousers
Yes, I recommend this
these trousers were exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately they have sold out in both colours. I orderered the navy in a size 10 as that is the size I usually take in an M & S trouser, however these came up a bit small but sadly the 12 has sold out. Please take note M & S Buyers - these are a fashionable style for this winter and you could have ordered more!

Cut could be better
No, I don't recommend this
I bought this in the darker colour, size 14. It does not suit me because the stitching (pintuck?) at the front draws attention to my widest area which is my hip. I bought it because I like looser, more comfortable trousers. Perhaps the pintuck will not show too much on black.

Comfy trousers
Yes, I recommend this
I bought these trousers thinking they would be comfortable and they really are . Colour is true to the online colour, I bought the light ones. The material is warm and soft and being 5ft 4ins the length is just at my ankle. I am usually a size 10 in M&S trousers so ordered that size and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend them.

Disappointing turn ups
No, I don't recommend this
I was excited to try these on but the bottom of the legs looked very odd. I like turn up trousers and was disappointed.

Rather Baggy around the legs
No, I don't recommend this
These were delivered quickly - But a little disappointed as they are a bit baggy around the Legs. Always been a 10-12 size, But a little tight around the waist. Nice soft material though

Comfortable and look good
Yes, I recommend this
Fabric is nice and luxurious. I bought a size 16 because of wide hips but a 14 would have been fine

[Employee of marksandspencer-en_gb] Very big around bottom so having to take back did not like material

Fabulous soft corduroy, two lovely colours but....
Yes, I recommend this
I am 5’8’ and need longer length trousers... why are these lovely trousers so short?? They are lovely soft cord, great colours but far too short. I have laboriously taken the hems down to half an inch with a false hem...but the hemline is impossible to iron out. Please Marks and Spencer try to remember that we come in all shapes and...leg lengths. So more colours in this gorgeous corduroy...and longer lengths! Listen to your customers.

Very comfortable and look amazing
Yes, I recommend this
I wanted some casual trousers that were not jeans. I find corduroy a little warmer and smarter. I love the high waist and the looser fit around the hips. The trousers are a perfect fit and are super comfy.

Love the product and fit very good. Am a 5ft 3" size 18 and found the thighs of the trousers a wee bit wide. Doesn't bother me that much though as have worn the trousers.

I bought these the other week, but I only tried on for the first time yesterday. Very happy with these as they fit perfectly, and look very smart.

Thought they would be suitable

I bought a larger size than my mother would normally have. They are still too small for her. When I tried buying another pair at my local store and on line a week later M&S have run out of stock.

Great design concept but not quite there..
Lovely soft fabric perfect fit around my waist and nicely roomy around the hips and thighs. (I’m a curvy pear shape) but I don’t think they can be described as tapering..they are quite straight, and unfortunately as they don’t come in a choice of length I knew I was probably going to have to accept they’d be full length on me, which they are. I’m 5’ 2”. However they make a useful addition to my wardrobe but not as stylish as they could have been.

Rediculously short

Was looking forward to getting these but despite being described as ankle grazers were more like three quarter length even though I’m not overly tall at 5’ 7”.

Strange shape
No, I don't recommend this
I thought that these would be a new take on cord trousers. I am a size 8 and they made me look shapeless. There was too much width through the upper thigh and too little narrowing at the ankle. The overall look was tube like. Had to return
