Checked Pencil Skirt

Great skirt for work, no ironing required and dries quickly. 10/10 M&S

I love this skirt, it really is a comfortable fit. Would have liked an underskirt to it though. It is nice to have a choice of lengths, Material feels nice and soft Marks and Spencer, are back on track with this number

Bought to wear with a back M&S blazer to wear at a formal function bought regular length I’m 5ft 6” and it’s sits perfectly at my knee very comfortable and hangs well looks very smart

I wear this skirt most days for work. The material is nice and thick and stretchy. It's very comfortable to wear and doesn't dig in to my belly because it's got a stretch waist. The pattern is smart and stylish. The only negatives I have are that after laundry the elastic gets twisted and has to be turned back into the correct position. I also think £20 is quite a lot for a stretchy skirt with no zip. I think it should really be £10 or £15. But overall a really handy work skirt which I wear everyday as its comfortable!

This skirt is everything I want from a skirt. It is stylish and is great to wear to work. It is really comfortable and made of great quality fabric. In all my other M&S skirts I am normally a size 10, after trying the size 10 it hung on me and didn’t fit at all. I had to go size down to a size 6 and this is a perfect fit. Perfect fit on the waist and hips. Not too tight and fits just right.

I bought this skirt two months ago, it is so comfortable, no lining nice length, lots of comments from other ladies, need more like this M&S.

The waist is 3 inches larger than my last two pencil skirts from M&S but is the same hip size.. The labels are very similar i.e. long but it is also at least 3 inches shorter than the other two. I had to return it. Very disappointed. It felt good on but fell down below my waist, so I measured it carefully against the other two which were purchased at the end of last year.

M&S really should do more of these pull on jersey skirts, it is something they have historically done well and of which I have bought in various designs over the years. All of them have washed and worn well. This check design is a classic that works well for me with a black fitted top and heels for the office. I have to pack my clothes in a pannier as I cycle to work; jersey items like this are better for less to no creasing. I wear the size 10 regular and at 5ft 2 it just covers my knees which is good for work.

Bought this for the summer at work as it is unlined but also really smart. It’s a perfect fit (size 10) and isn’t too clingy either. It’s very versatile and looks good with a smart blouse or a nice black t-shirt. Would thoroughly recommend

I love these skirts, flattering and easy to wear, comfortable elastic waist. I buy the long length27"which is ideal for me, I prefer my knees covered. More of this style please, especially a nice black watch tartan for the Autumn /Winter?

Am so pleased with this skirt, couldn’t believe the price of it., the fit is good and ohh eladticated waistbands are just brilliant. Come on M&S let’s have some more colours, am now looking for a navy one please!

A problem with buying online - you can’t check the quality. I was very disappointed with this when it turned up. It was made of stretchy, thin material and clung to my stomach. I was expecting something lined but I guess it was too cheap for that. Another return!

I am very pleased with this easy to wear, due to stretch fabric check skirt,it is form fitting but not clingy. It will form a simple but stylish basic to my wardrobe to wear with soft blouse, tailored shirt or roll neck. I envisage getting alot wear from this simple garment.
