I have been looking for a specific shape and proportion of lamp to shade for a few years and have seen others similar but at 3 times the price. I have been looking at this lamp for a while so when I saw the discount I ordered it straight away. The lamp seems to be excellent quality. I was a little concerned that the finish would be glossy but delighted it is a matt finish and the top is also textured. Something else that was important to me but might not concern others is that the shade is low enough to not see the metal part of the light fixing. Unfortunately this seems to be out of stock as I would like to buy another for a different room.

This lamp looks great in my study
This lamp is great. It looks lovely and lights perfectly. You need to use a short bulb as the top of the shade is a smidge low but otherwise it a beauty.
