Heat the oil (1 tbsp) in a deep non-stick pan and fry the sausages (1 pack) over a medium heat for 5-6 minutes until golden all over. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan. Add the onion (1) to the pan, season and cook over a medium heat for 4-6 minutes, until beginning to soften. Stir in the garlic (2 cloves) and cook for another minute before adding the sausages back to the pan along with the beans (800 g), BBQ sauce (1 tbsp) and herbs (1 tsp). Stir everything together.

Transfer to an oven-proof dish and level with the back of a spoon. Scatter over the fries (300 g) and cheese (75 g) before baking for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Serve scattered with the parsley (as needed) and salad (as needed) on the side.
