I always bought M&S school shirts for my son but now I buy them for his sons - my grandsons. They always fit well and they look very smart. To be able to buy them in packs of five makes them extremely good value. Also, they are easy to iron because it is me who irons them!

Pack of five shirts, great price. One for every day of the week. Straight in the washing machine on a Friday, hang dry do not put in the dryer as they will shrink and a quick iron with a little starch and perfect for the following week. I will only by from M and S- great fit and stay white.

Ordered one size down but came up very large. Sleeves the right length but arm width very wide - especially if trying to fit under school jumper and!”/or blazer. Annoying that there are very few M&S branches with school uniform on display to try on for size. I’ve noticed more and more stock is available online only. Returns are costly, time consuming and not eco conscious .

Velcro tape instead of buttons for older children!

I do not recommend this for older children! Velcro closing instead of buttons can easily be ripped opened - my 17 year old laughed at it!! Said his friends could easily pull apart the Velcro strip playing around!!!
