High waisted shorts
Yes, I recommend this
When I pulled these out of the packet I thought they looked rather small, but I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. It's strange that they're called "high waisted", because they sit well below the belly button, while I think of my waist as being well above it. But they don't squeeze my belly, which can be an issue as I have IBS. And they don't ride up into uncomfortable places, either. I may well be buying more of these even though it's more than I'd usually spend, perhaps if/when they're on offer.

Very uncomfortable
No, I don't recommend this
I had big hopes for these as have worn sloggi briefs in the past but these were very disappointing. Firstly the sizing, way too small. I am usually size 10 but, on reading other reviews, I decided to order size 12. These are way too tight and actually became increasingly uncomfortable to wear. throughout the day The fit was much lower than described and more than emphasised my (not normally protruding) abdomen giving a "muffin top" look to my body. Very Disappointed.

Not good fit
These were supposed to be shorts style but the fit on the leg was a bit tight. I specifically purchased these for a looser fit at the leg so they didn’t suit my purpose.

These are exactly what I’ve been after. They’re not too high waisted on me, and super comfy. Hopefully not too much info, but it may be helpful to others, these never give me a “wedgie”, they don’t ride up and they stay where they’re supposed to. They have a wide gusset (again, who knew I’d get to 40 and start caring about such things?!) and wash well. I’m going to invest in more. They are pricey, but worth it I reckon.

These knicker shorts from the Sloggi BASIC+ range are very well made and extremely comfortable. In particular, they have a true 'shorts' style of leg which adds to the comfort. I don't mind the price because the quality is so good, and even at £15 per pair, I will buy more of these.
