Aromatics Elixir™ Eau de Parfum 25ml

My mom has used this for years. We bought her some for Christmas. Having seen these reviews I asked her about it. She said it didn't seem to last. She's 89 but now having to find a new one. My sister in law and I had both switched but you have lost us too

Soooooo disappointed that this has been changed. Have worn this perfume for years, always loved it and people used to ask me what it was. The new version has no resemblance to the original and barely has any aroma. Feel cheated out of my money. Surely you should have renamed it instead of passing it off as the same! Having seen similar comments it shows how many of your loyal customers feel duped and disappointed with your company. Cannot understand why you changed such a popular and beautiful perfume.

I have bought this perfume for over 30 years and thought my preferences had changed over recent years, buying the black and white versions. Tried the original AE at the airport yesterday. Initially smelt the same but scent was gone within the hour. My old AE lingered all day. Will not be buying again unless Clinique relaunch and confirm it is to original formulae. So sad- such an iconic perfume :(

I've opened a new bottle of aromatic elixir, and it seems it has a different smell. It's not quite as strong or fragrant. It also only lasts an hour is so. Has anything changed?? Such a shame. I thought this would always be my parfum.

I have used aromatics for years and loved it. What have you done to it? Just opened a huge 100ml bottle and it smells nothing like it did. It's like old ladies perfume and doesn't last an hour. What a waste of my hard earned money. Will not buy again and need to find a new perfume. This should have been communicated to the customer. I'm afraid you've made a huge mistake!

My comments are similar to the vast amount from all your other customers! I have used this fragrance for 35 years but it hasn't been the same for a long time now. I stopped for awhile but bought a bottle at the airport 2 weeks ago.... words fail me as despite all the previous complaints on this review site, the fragrance is still like a cheap imposter! I left the bottle in the hotel!

My aunt had been wearing this parfum since 20 years and I loved it. I can say it was her signature. I decided to buy and change my regular parfum, but literally disappointed. It is not absolutely the same and not lingering on skin and clothes. I regret spending that much money on it.

Bought this as a treat for myself after traumatic time moving home. It smelt great on a friend but after an hour of application on myself it just smells revolting, I have tried quite a few times but end up washing it off. Now I am left with an expensive bottle of perfume I cant use and a bad memory of buying it when it should have been a happy one.

I am so disappointed. What have you done with my Aromatics? I have been wearing it since 1979/80, when I worked for Clinique in Fenwicks at Brent Cross. It has been my signature perfume ever since. It just doesn't smell the same, it doesn't last very long on your skin or on your clothes. I'm devastated and need to find another fragrance. Several friends have asked by I don't wear it any more. What is happening.

Iv been using aromatics for 30 years. Round about 20 months ago, I purchased a bottle off this site. When it arrived it appeared to 'smell' different, it just does not linger like it used too. In the past there wasn't a day went by when someone didn't commented on the amazing smell of aromatics. I am gutted that the smell has changed significantly .

Like other reviews used for 30plus years and had many compliments. New 'version' totally different please,please bring back the old version! But let us know if you do as I've wasted money on my last bottle!

This has been my only perfume for 30yrs. Gifting myself a 100ml bottle every Christmas, I've decided it will be the last time I purchase it. This scent was unique and so nice to wear. People would compliment me everyday-and those who knew the smell gave a silent nod of knowing. It now smells like a cheap market perfume. No long lasting scent or mysterious tones. I'm really disappointed. Whatever ingredient removed from the formula needs returning or you may as well just end the line.

Why oh why have you changed the smell of perfume , it was my all time favourite but does not smell the same anymore but the body wash and body smoother seams to smell the same

What have you done to Aromatic Elixer, I have worn this perfume for 35 years, always having lovely comments from people, having read previous reviews who were complaining about it, I opened my new bottle, only to find they were right, it smells really cheap & nasty, the perfume is a considered purchase especially for me as a pensioner, my daughter bought this 100ml bottle for my birthday, for something I will not use, can she return it please. I did as you suggested by ringing customer care, they said someone would ring me back! NOT!!! So rang again...that was 3 weeks ago, still waiting ..really bad service from Clinique..not what I would expect..very disapointing...
