I have used this foundation for years and years. It provided good coverage and never caused breakouts. I purchased a new bottle a few months ago and I've just started using it. No coverage and the colours have all changed. So disappointing. My skin looks terrible with it on.

I bought this to help with my sensitive, rosacea, breakout prone skin. Tried for a few weeks and my skin became worse, so I stopped using it. I waited for my skin to calm down by using tried and tested products from a different brand, then gave this foundation another try. Unfortunately, the same thing happened so it is clear this doesn't suit my skin. I am now over the 30 day returns, sadly. If you suffer from rosacea I recommend avoiding this one.

I was miss-sold this foundation by a Clinique representative in a store. I asked for light, buildable coverage but was sold this awful stuff because I made the mistake of saying that I have hormonal (peri-menopausal) breakouts. It doesn't sit well, it slides all over my face and is so thick, it's not at all what I was after. I've tried contacting Clinique several times to complain but have been ignored. All of my skin care is Clinique so I had really high hopes for a foundation from them but feel ripped off.

Why are all the shades named differently?

I have to say it would be so much easier if the shades had the same names across all the face make up products, or at least had a colour matching key. Then you could check what colour foundation or concealer is closest to Almost Powder Makeup shade medium or Superpowder matte beige. Online colour representations aren't accurate, I have no idea what shade of foundation to buy :(

I actually purchased this foundation a couple of years ago in Alabaster. I love how this is not a "heavy" concealer. It does not "cake" and it never causes breakouts. Highly recommended for those with a blemish prone skin.

Have used this product for years but a month or so ago I came to reorder and found that most places were out of stock and was worried it was being discontinued. Then it appeared again on the Clinique website, Yay!! I thought and ordered straight away but now come to use it after finishing my old one and it's awful, so patchy and does not cover my blemishes/red areas well at all. I'm already looking for alternatives, just maddening that it's cost over £30 to find this out.

I have fair skin with a blue undertone and the linen colour was a good match. It gave good coverage but unfortunately aggravated my rosacea.

I used this foundation for over 7 years, it was my absolute fave and never broke me out even though I used it on a daily basis and long hours. However recently they reformulated it and now I notice it does not last on my skin at all. It used to last amazingly all day and provide good coverage, now after a few hours it starts to look so bad and barely covers anything. I never had this issue with this product until they reformulated it. I feel so frustrated as it was my favorite foundation ever and now I have to look for a new one because this does not work for me anymore. I don't know what they did to it but whatever it was please undo it!!

I'm genuinely devastated that Clinique has taken the decision to withdraw the majority of the colours in the line. I've been using ivory for years, and it's the only foundation that works with my extremely sensitive skin. I'm on immunosuppressants (biologics) and nothing else works on me. I've tried nearly every other Clinique foundation, and a lot of others from different brands. "Even better" makes my skin oily and slips off my face even with setting powder and primer. It doesn't cover anything despite being apparently medium cover. "even better clinical" doesn't seem to bond with my skin in any way and just sits on top of it. It's really odd. "Superbalanced" is a fantastic concealer for me, but any dry skin really stands out. It's great as a concealer in general but too much for full foundation on my skin. "Beyond perfecting" was incredibly sticky and never seemed to dry. Anything that brushed against it, even hours later, got stained. I used it as a concealer until I'd finished the bottle, but it did accumulate in any little wrinkles. I really hope Clinique reconsiders their decision to withdraw so many shades from "beyond perfecting" so I can have nice looking skin again. :(
