Aggressive Arch
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
I love Brooks. Ive been using the adrenalines for at least 8 years because of the stability they offer for pronating feet. I now bought the GTS 25- I’ve been using them for daily walks since December and at first I loved the cushion- the sole is much thicker than previous ones which helps with not feeling the impact of the ground. But then the top of my foot started hurting, eventually it got so bad I could barely walk. Then my knee started to hurt and eventually my low back too. After talking to my doctor, it seems I have some kind of tendinitis’s at the top of my foot seemingly because the arch/structure of the adrenaline 25 is too high and it’s forcing my foot to be in a weird position which has also affected my knee and my low back. It saddens me to return them because I really loved the new look, but they just don’t work for me. I guess I’ll have to try the 24s or switch out of the Adrenalines for another shoe.

Put them on and off I went...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I skipped last years model after reading reviews that they changed the toe box again making them too narrow/tight for many people, including myself. When they released GTS 25, all reviews said the fit was back to being nice and roomy so I placed my order (color: Black/Grey/White). I was thrilled to find out that they fit exactly as I had hoped. I put them on and off I ran with zero discomfort. I have been wearing the Adrenaline GTS for years and as long as they don't mess with changing the toe box and making them narrow, they fit like a glove. So....please don't change that again. Do what ever you want with the cosmetics and improvements to the cushion. I love the addition of the loop on the back as it makes it easier to slip them on. I really like the color I chose as it is not solid black but has subtle grey/white pattern in the toe box. I want to buy a second pair but I am not thrilled with this years color selection for woman. Most are light colors which, if you run outdoors every day, tend to get pretty dirty looking. I love the medium blue they have for the men, so maybe they can add that to the women's too??? In any case, for the future I hope they add more medium tone colors. Overall, a great shoe!!!

Squishy Sole

No more heel pain!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After suffering with a severe case of plantar fasciitis for over 5 months this shoe gave immediate relief. On my feet all day with easily over 10,000 steps a day in the hospital, every step was searing hot pain- which turned into inescapable throbbing pain that didn’t quit even when I was off my feet at home. I started having related knee and hip pain too. I have a very high arch and always have to wear special insoles for the support. I’ve been wearing brooks adrenaline GTS 25 for about 2 weeks now and it’s changed my life! Now my feet feel best when I’m wearing these shoes. This level of support is just what I needed but I didn’t have to sacrifice cushion and shock absorption to get it. The guide rail system has helped me re-establish a more appropriate gait since I couldn’t help but compensate for so long that I had developed a limp of sorts. Just bought another pair. Please don’t ever change anything with this shoe!

New Design is Flawed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always loved the adrenalines, I have a pair of 23s and 24s. Decided I would try out the new 25s and I hate the new design. They changed the back of the shoe, so now the heel tab rubs my leg raw. I did not have this rubbing issue in the previous versions of the adrenalines.

Great supportive shoe with the right balance of cushion and improved material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Adrenaline style fixed my tendonitis to allow me to keep running. I appreciate that the 25 has a more knitted feel so I don't have to heel lock the shoes like the 24. I appreciate this double silver color because I prefer my shoes to not have white cushion but also don't want to always wear double black shoes since I live in a hot climate. Please make more colored shoe cushions that aren't just black and coconut! White these aren't trail shoes, I did take them on a mountainous run and they had decent traction.

Comfy and bright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a Brooks fan for many years. The 25's are super comfortable and now more true to size. I had to size down by 1/2 size which fit much better and I love the cushion! The bright color is fun and definitely something new for Adrenalines. Hopefully they will continue this trend going forward.

Not Comfortable

Too short, too narrow, and very uncomfortable to the outside of feet after about 2 hours of wearing. I have never had to "break in" a pair of Brooks shoes, ever. I am disappointed in this purchase.

Great shoe

First off I have to say the 25's are much better than previous (exception to the 23's which were my favorite!)I mist have tried at least 3 different types of brooks in last yr and I have returned them all.Im thrilled to say i will be keeping the adrenaline 25 as they are the closest fitting to my 23.Definately more room in toe box than past sneaks although my last 2 right toes always feel a bit scrunched which I'm blaming on back surgery I had 4 yrs ago. Also, the size is def true to size no guessing size up or down and the comfort os pretty good as well although the interior of the sneaker could be a bit more comfy like the sole.

GTS 25 is a great update
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Adrenaline 25 is the best year over year update I can remember, and I’ve been wearing them since the GTS 12. Love the thick padding at the heel though I had initially worried it would compromise stability. Only minor issue is the toe box feels a bit loose and I have some minor rubbing of my toes, which I fixed with wool wrap.

Disappointed
Originally posted on brooksrunning.com
Adrenalines have been my go to shoe for years. Unfortunately, the last three models have not been good for me. The 23's and 24's left me with aching arches. I just tried the 25's. They felt a little better, but after a couple of days my arches were aching again. I'm disappointed to have to return them. I don't know what's different, but wish they would go back to the structure of the 21 and 22's.

Feel great

Really comfortable and supportive! Seems to have a bit more cushion than previous year but after wearing them for a couple weeks they are feeling like they’ve adapted to all the right places. I over pronate and they help. There’s never been a pair that I haven’t liked!
