Active Skin 8 Running Vest

This pack fits me like a glove. I love being able to go out without a lot of gear. This holds just enough for me to stay hydrated and carry a jacket if the weather turns.

Very comfortable and light weight, carries everything I need for a run or a long bike ride! Been using it 6-7 days out of the week for a few months now and it’s still good as new ever after multiple washes!

For the comfort and durability alone this vest is worth it! I wear it for every run, hike and bike ride and it doesn’t rub against my skin and is very light. The bag in the back is also great for my keys, phone, wallet and additional items for longer bike rides!

This is a lightweight pack that comes in handy when the weather is toasty outside. No chafing and carries plenty of fluid.

Love the Active Skin 8 for my trail hustles. I use a Platypus 1.5L bladder in the posterior cavity and have plenty of storage for nutrition, phone, and bear spray in the accessory pockets. Whistle included in front left pocket. Large zipper compartment in back holds my jacket and the front zipper securely holds my phone. I amble to attach my pole quiver and bungee it to keep from bouncing & rattling. Love this vest!

Have used once so far. No issues with two full water bottles. Fir well and not noticeable for a 10 mile run

I originally measured and the size guide said a unisex small would fit me but after reading some reviews I decided to size up since I have larger breasts and I’m so glad I did! This vest is incredibly comfortable. For reference I’m 5’6 and 145lbs.

I’m going to be honest, I hate having anything on my body while running other than my clothes, so I was very wary about getting a vest when I started ultras. My biggest concern was bounce. I ordered this vest and decided to take it out on a 26 mile long run. Let me tell you, it is exactly as described: a second skin. The fit, comfort, and utility of this running vest are incredible. I ran with both front soft flasks full and a 2L bladder in the back, and there was absolutely zero bounce. I was honestly astonished at how well it performed. This vest completely changed my opinion on running hydration gear. I’ll be buying Salomon products for a long time.

I bought this for running 50 miles and it has been so useful. I use all the time!
