I expected shorter socks given that these are called 'Ankle School Socks'. It's not a problem as we can roll them down to accommodate. Would have loved to have seen some designs with these - lacey or frilly ends to pretty them up for little girls. The socks are good quality and should stand the test of every day school use.

I bought these size 9-12 for a child in size 10 shoes. They are ridiculously large, the heel comes over her ankle at the back and the foot is bunched up with excess fabric and uncomfortable. She needs navy socks for school which are hard to find ( most places only have grey, black or white) so I’ll try the size down.

Lower quality than previously
Quality not as good as usual - where there is something written in white lettering around the top of the inside of the socks, there are white threads sticking up, so makes them look scruffy. Material quality not as good as usual either.

It’s difficult to find plain navy socks and I stumbled upon these school socks many years ago. Let’s just say I’m not of school age! Great price, great length for under trousers or jeans, and wear well. Easy to pair and each set I have are slightly different in their labelling so I don’t get old and new mixed up. Recommend for anyone young or old.
