There was a label indicating that these were the same as the previously called 'midis'. I think they are not the same. They are much bigger with more fabric. I am underwhelmed.

I've been wearing this style of knicker since my twenties and I am now in my seventies. The quality has gone down but is still an adequate piece if comfortable underwear. However why oh why have you changed the name to 'high rise' shorts and dropped the 'midi' description. It took me ages to find them online and without the full title (words in the right order) they were impossible to find. Fortunately I found I'd still got a packet from the last lot I'd bought. I also think you should bring back the lovely lacy version.

Material very thin nowadays. Fit a little large. Price ok. They are not shorts but like the old midi pants which is good. Why call them shorts?! Sizing a little smaller these days.

I have bought these knickers (M&S cotton lycra) for many years now and agree with other reviewers - the last set didn't last as long as the previous set and these ones seem thinner / lighter again. I'd rather pay a bit more for a heavier cotton. So far, fit well, comfortable and wash well. Only time will tell how well they last.
