Couldn't agree more with the previous reviewer. Really gutted this line has been discontinued (or so I have been told in store). I can't believe this will have been due to poor sales- possibly because they are too cheap to make anything on? Please Marks these are so so much better than your Autograph range and anything else on the market- at least repackage them even if you have to charge more. After years of hunting for hold ups or tights which were comfortable when sitting for hours at a desk I came across these at a fraction of the price of designer brands. They are so comfortable you completely forget you are wearing them. They are also really good quality and look nice even when you put them through a machine wool wash. If they snag you don't really notice as they are quite nude. Really wish I had stockpiled while they were in stock

I just want to add my comments to those of some of your other customers about your having discontinued this product. I hate tights and have never worn anything but stockings and these hold ups were perfect for someone like me who wears them regularly to work. They were good value for money and no-where else does a similar hold up at such a reasonable price. Please bring them back! £5 a pair for your other hold ups is a bit much for me.

I found a recommendation for these hold up stockings on the internet a few years ago, while looking for hold ups that actually stay up on people with thin thighs. They have been a godsend for my disabled mother and myself - it means dressing her has been so easy. Now it seems they have been discontinued (though I'm hoping this is just a temporary absence while they are being improved...). For the past couple of months since not being able to buy more I have wasted a huge amount of money buying other hold ups (including M&S) that all seem to have fancy lace tops that are too deep to be effective on my mother, who has lovely slim legs. Between standing up from her bed where I dress her, to her wheelchair, they are already round her knees. Please M&S, bring these back.

It seems these hold ups are no longer available. I don't understand why a product that is so good should be discontinued leaving only the more expensive options that are nowhere near as good. Bring these back M&S.!!!

The hold ups are great value and very comfortable (unlike the more expensive M&S hold ups which have a silicon top which can irritate the skin and loses efficacy after a couple of washes). I wish M&S would reintroduce this product in black and nearly black again.

These are by far the best basic hold -ups I have ever bought. They are absolutely reliable - no worries that they will fall down after a few wears. They are also lovely and long and an excellent colour. Unfortunately they are not always available in store.

I love these Hold-Ups but recommend you buy a size smaller than you would normally if you have thinner thighs; otherwise there's too much denier to fit a slimmer leg.

Awful hold up top on newest stockings

I've been buying the original versions of these (the ones with the little diamond pattern on the hold-up) for ages now and loved them. They stay up, wash well and were ideal 'working day' stockings as they stayed up no matter how many times I ran up & down stairs or stretched to reach files. Then M&S changed the hold up part to a miniscule narrow band just half the original size .... and whilst they do stay up, I'm sure that it is only because they are pinching my legs so much! I can only imagine that this feels the way my Grannie did with her war time strips of elastic as garters. The actual stocking is the same good quality but the top ..... NOT. M&S, this really isn't a good change, please bring back the "diamond top".
