Avoid Burgundy! Excessive Shedding!

We have purchased these jumpers for the past two years in burgundy and they have been average in wear quality. After 1 term of wear there are holes under the arms, elbows and wrists where there is more wear. I was okay with having to replace all four jumpers every term. I purchased new jumpers at the beginning of Feb and the new batch of jumpers are awful! With any new clothes you expect a certain level of shedding of fibres when the yarn is new. Unfortunately, this new batch is shedding so much I have washed and tumble dried the new jumpers 4 times and they are still shedding excessively to the point that I have burgundy dust all over my house on our hard floors and furniture. I have wet mopped everyday and the mop cloth is burgundy even in rooms that the jumpers haven’t been in! I have returned them now as this is a yarn fault for this batch. I can only review the burgundy jumpers so the fault may be okay from other colours.

It's quite disappointing really, it says to be pure cotton, but it sheds hair/fibre, and the underlying white shirt is covered all over with the fibres.
