Smart beach cover up

I wanted to buy this last year but small was already out of stock by June and never came back. I am between size 10-12 and this fits perfectly. I bought the white and it looks lovely over multi coloured shorts with the Marks and Spencer ribbed vests that I bought last year. Lovely soft material does not crumple. Marks and Spencer you need to get a bigger supply of small sizes.

A little overpriced for the quality

I bought this in white and in black for an upcoming holiday. I'm a UK size 20 and the XL was a comfortable loose fit. The L was more fitted and would have been suitable had I wanted a more formal look. I've rated this 4/5 because the stitching is a little poor in places. At this price I'd expect a better quality of construction.

Lovely shirt but crazy M&S sizing again!
The material is really soft and the shirt drapes really nicely. I haven’t worn it yet though, probably won’t for several months now, and the sizing is baffling. I know it’s a ‘relaxed’ fit and other shoppers said it came up big but after several attempts I finally settled on a small - and I’m usually a size 16. There was no discernible difference between a large and a medium. Come on M&S, please sort this out, it’ll help to stop so many items having to be returned!

Bought for an upcoming beach holiday. Shirt is extra large, I wear a 14-16 and this would fit much bigger size (I wanted it very loose). Exactly what I was looking for to wear over a swimsuit for beach walks and resort lunches.

This shirt is excellent, well sized, long enough for my body to be fully covered when wearing so that I could put it on over a swimsuit and not need shorts etc. good quality and durable.

I bought three in the end: white, pink and black. The white and pink have really been worth the money. I’ve worn both through winter and summer. They are quite thick but versatile . Having worn them on the beach and travelling , both have been machine washed and tumble dried without shrinking !!!!!! They are on the generous side so downsize if you want a closer fit. I kept the black shirt but it’s dull in comparison to the other two and would have been more useful in a smaller size perhaps

As other reviewers have said, this comes up very big. I spotted it in-store, got obsessed with the deep teal colour and the fabric, but had to wait a while until size S (I’m usually size 14) came back into stock. It looks great open over a t shirt or vest top, or on its own, with white linen or denim jeans. Can’t report on how it washes etc as haven’t worn it yet

Great for holidays and warm days generally
This shirt has matching trousers and I have them in 2 colours It comes up on the large side, but, I think it is supposed to and it doesn't matter with this style. Great for holidays and will never go out of fashion.

Small far too big
Given 3 stars as the material is nice, after reading reviews I ordered a size S I'm a size 12 now I know these are meant to be worn baggy but you could have got 3 of me in it so sadly returned, also ordered the trousers which are great in a short leg I'm 5ft 4in
