A fragrant and fruity medium-bodied red Cherries with flavours of blackberries and warm spices.
Lying southwest of Barcelona, Penedés is best known for sparkling Cava. But red grapes grow well here too, influenced by the Mediterranean Sea and the Catalan coastal hills. The grapes for this wine are from mature vineyards farmed naturally – hence the importance of owls in fighting vine pests. This delicious Spanish red has a twist – 3% of its profits go towards reestablishing the local owl population!
