Middle of T-bar digs in

The top of the t-bar comes up a little too high and digs into my daughters feet. She didn’t notice initially but after a full day at school she came home saying that they hurt her. She had a little red mark where they’d been chaffing all day. I had to buy her a different pair shoes. Couldn’t return theses because they’d been worn.
