Floral Jacquard Shift Dress

I loved this dress, loved the colour and materials and the black edging. However, when I tried it on it looked terrible - the problem was with the cut away arms at the front. I did not realise until I tried it on that they were like this - I thought it was just the back that had the cut away arms. I am unfortunately returning this item.

I loved the style and the colour of this dress, but the fabric is stiff and unyielding with no stretch at all. I'm a pear shape, and the cut was all wrong for me: too tight on my hips but far too big across the bust, with gaping neckline and armholes. I returned the dress and bought the top in the same fabric but a size smaller - much more successful!

Loved the colour and shape, but why oh why does Marks and Spencer repeatedly make clothes in this revolting upholstery fabric? Thick, uncomfortable, not flattering, sweaty, easy to snag and something I expect to see covering my three piece suite. Refrain from making any more garments in jacquard fabric please! Small sleeves on dresses would help too.

I ordered this dress online as it wasn't available at my local store. The dress is beautifully made and I thought it looked great until I tried it on and the fit, on me, was great from the waist downwards but unfortunately the bodice did not fit me well and I returned the dress. The fabric and colouring were excellent and the finish was what you'd expect from the Autograph brand.
