Denim Embroidered Midi Tiered Dress

Looks lovely..hangs nicely .I'm a 12/14..size 14 was just the job .very happy. A little more pricey..but good quality and will last a few summers.

I adore this dress. I’m normally a size 12 top and 10 bottoms but the 10 fitted me perfectly as it’s sheared so stretches nicely. The material is beautifully soft. I saw this dress in a Sunday supplement and fell in love with it. I’m not disappointed at all. Even though I’m more ‘mature’ it’s a style that suits everyone and can be dressed up or down.

I have just tried this dress and I love the fabric which has enough weight to hang well without being too heavy. The embroidery is pretty too and I really like the shirred bodice which prevents having gaps under the arms. all in all a very good buy except for the length which comes down to my feet (I am 5'7") and I wish it was a bit shorter!!

I have a few of these dresses in various fabrics and was delighted when I saw this denim version. Although it has spaghetti straps as mentioned in a previous review I find them more than substantial enough to support the weight of the fabric. The denim has a lovely sheen and the embroidery gives a lift to the denim. I can’t wait for warmer weather to wear this lovely dress. I will wear with a plain white tee shirt or cardigan for cooler days.

This dress is just as lovely as it looks in the photos online and it fits really well too (there is no zip as in the description but I'm not sure why you would need one). The length is the same on me as in the photo (I'm 5'9"). The fabric is heavy and drapes beautifully. And that is where I ran into a problem. For me the spaghetti straps are just too thin for the weight of the dress - I could literally feeling it pulling down on my shoulders with the weight and it just made it feel a bit uncomfortable. Like a shopping bag with thin straps digs in when it's full. Really wanted to keep it but I know i would just end up wanting to take it off because of this.
