4 Tier Elegant Wedding Cake – Assorted Flavours with Chocolate (Serves 200) Last order date 26th March

We are so happy that we ordered this cake for our wedding. The choice of flavours we great and they all tasted delicious. Our guests loved it. It looked really elegant and was cheaper and better tasting than cakes we tasted in wedding bakeries.

Bought this cake for you daughters wedding ,it arrived in store packed well in boxes ,it was easy to put together and looked fabulous everybody was impressed .and it was very moist and delicious ,would recommend this cake to anyone.

Bought this cake for my daughters wedding. The plain sponge and the chocolate layers were moist and delicious but the fruit cake layer was dry and crumbly making it a lmost impossible to slice and vertually impossible to cut up to send to the people unable to attend the wedding. For this reason I am only awarding 3 stars.

This was a delicious cake. All 3 flavours were spot on. Icing was nice, fillings were good. Particularly happy as there was something for everyone to have. The cake (all 3 layers) tasted great and looked wonderfully made as well. One and only negative I would give this cake is that the top tier is particularly small and don't believe it is worth extra money. If I bought the cake again it would be in the 3 tier as that extra piece could probably only feed 4 people maximum. Again other than that, nothing wrong had lots of compliments about the cake and how good it tasted!

Such a lovely, classic looking cake which all our guests enjoyed. The mix of flavoured sponge and rich fruit cake was perfect for everyone, and we had some great compliments. I can personally vouch for the fruit cake, it was beautifully rich and moist. Such good value for money.

A beautiful, yet simple cake that was absolutely delicious. The sponge was soft and fluffy and the fruit layer rich. It was not t had aoo sweet. The icing wasn't tooth-breaking hard, in fact melt in the mouth texture. Our florist added some decoration to the plain white icing. It was very easy to stack, we didn't even need to use the dowels. A lovely cake enjoyed by all, at my daughter's wedding.

Bought this cake for my wedding. Chocolate tier- amazing very chocolatey! Plain sponge- amazing buttery and moist. Fruit - packed full of fruit and very moist although this meant a little difficult to cut (bit crumbly). Icing was great (not usually an icing fan) Bow on the cake much nicer than expected attached via velco so would be easy to remove if need be. We added a row of sparkle around each tier and also a couple of 'cake brooches' (top tip sparkly costume earrings do the trick) Can't comment on assembling the cake as hotel did all this for us. Packaging very good each tier in its own box very secure. Definitely not worth paying 3 times the price for a cake elsewhere! Overall very pleased & lots left we had around 110 guests.

The cake was fantastic value for money and tasted delicious! The rods were a little tricky to get the right size but don't let this put you off. We removed the bows and added our own decoration...it looked brilliant. I would recommend this cake to anyone, could not fault it. We did have to chase our order but other than that we were extremely happy!

The cake itself was delicious, as you would expect from any M&S product. However, when the cake arrived it had smudges of chocolate on the white icing of the chocolate cake. I wasn't the fussiest of brides so I was able to just scrape most of this off to leave only a fake mark but I was disappointed. I am a keen baker and had been hoping to make my own wedding cake but had decided that it would be too much stress to have to decorate and assemble the cakes the day before so opted for M&S cake, thinking this would be an easier option. However, assembling the M&S cake was quite a feat in itself as there was a lot of packaging that was all stuck to the base of the cake. I was disappointed in the bow details on this cake for several reasons- they were not well stuff onto the cakes so moved around and it was difficult to get the bows to match up exactly in the middle of each cake. Aesthetically the back of the cake was also poor, which might not matter to some people the the ribbons are attached by very large pieces of Velcro which look very bulky and messy ( I ended up peeling off the velcro tabs and sticking the ribbon back together with pins and glue which looked better). Anyway, it all worked out it the end but was more hassle than I would have liked and didn't look quite as pristine as I hoped. Moist sponges though!

Our wedding was July 2014 & we chose this cake based on the previous good reviews and we certainly weren't disappointed. Cake was well packaged and straight forward to assemble. Cakes were lovely and moist, we received lots of compliments from our guests. I'm so glad we ordered from m&s as we felt we got much more value for money.

We bought the 4 tier elegant assorted cake for our 31st May wedding. We bought a plainly iced cake so that our florist could add flowers as a topper and then in a spiral around the tiers. The assorted tiers meant that everyone had cake to their taste. My favourite was the fruit bottom layer. This was really moist and tasted wonderful. The chocolate tiers were the first to go. I assembled the tiers and found it difficult to cut the dowels in the correct place. A sharp knife didn't cut through so I had to mark the height and break the dowel hoping it would be in the correct place.

Decorated with purple ribbons, it looked very stylish at my daughter's wedding. Everyone who ate some said it tasted superb (I can vouch that that is true for all 3 cake types!) and little was wasted uneaten. Can thoroughly recommend this cake to anyone. The only minor drawback was that the buyer can't choose the composition of the 3 layers. My daughter would have preferred a smaller layer of fruit cake and more sponge/chocolate but, as the fruit layer was moist and delicious, I have no complaints about it. If you are happy with the supplied composition, don't hesitate - just order it!

Excellent moist cake. A little plain as expected so needed ribbon & flowers. Extremely well packed and attentive service from M & S staff. Can thoroughly recommend with confidence purchasing any celebration cake from M & S.

The cake was well packed. well decorated as in the picture. 3 different sorts of cake, chocolate, vanilla, and fruit cake all exceptionally high standard, moist and delicious!. would highly recommend this.
