XA Pro 3D V9 GTX Trail Running Trainers

Super comfirtable for hikes, it has a good maintain and the sole has a good grip.

I wore XA Comp 8, for four years in 48 states. I wanted to replacement them but they are no longer made so the XA Pro 3D v9 is suggested as the closest match in both fit and structure. The Sense Ride 5 is a bit lighter and softer, which some find more comfortable for longer walks, though it may feel less structured than the XA Comp 8. Besides the heel pull being lower and the breathability of fabric, I believe they will make it through the remaining states and last for a couple of years.

I've been buying Salomon shoes for many years, and for good reason. They are durable and comfortable, feeling lightweight. I have become a dedicated year-round wearer, trusting them through the winter months. Despite the below zero temperatures and snow, their reliable Gore tex construction keeps my feet consistently dry and warm, proving that a high-quality pair of Salomons is far more than just a seasonal sneaker— they are dependable for every day of the year.

I find the material on these shoes very hard and painful to wear.

This is my third pair of Salomon hikers and by far the very best. I have worn them walking/hiking for the last 14 days without any issues. I love these shoes!

Shoes are perfect right out of the box. Gives my foot stability no matter how rocky/muddy the terrain!

These are pair #5 for me. I started using them for approach hikes for climbs all over the world and they hav never let me down. Comfy right out of the box, so I don't need to 'time" my purchase to get them broken in before I can wear them on a big trip. The downhill grip is easy to overlook but it's crucial--I have watched my fellow hikers slip and jerk and loose footing on things I was walking down with NO problem. And I have YET to ever have the lacing system fail. I keep a repair kit with me, but in all my pair and thousands of miles, no failures. These shoes are the reason I am such a huge Salomon fan.

Liked the style and look just ran a half size too big imo

This is my 4th pair of Solomon’s - I keep coming back to them because of comfort and durability. I’ll be using this pair for my trek through Spain. Fits true to size.

I love my Salomons. They are a perfect fit and stay comfortable through daily wear and travel walking. Love the zip laces! People always compliment me on my colourful shoes.

Nice and comfortable but unfortunately after a few wears (<10times) the shoes started to make a highly audible pop sound with each step. Started with one shoe then to both. Super annoying. Never had this issue with other Salomon designs. Luckily I could get a refund under warranty.

I searched far and wide for a shoe that was technical on the trail and sleek on the streets. I needed a packable shoe for hiking Madeira, Portugal, but also something that would look sharp with cute fits. This was 100% it. They weathered mud and waterfalls, they felt light running trails, they were super cute going out with jeans and cute top… very versatile. I try not to wear them all the time because I want them to last. But I love them! They withstood the hot cobblestones of Portugal in the summer (grip didn’t wear down like other sneakers). And I just took them to slightly snowy Sequoia… still functional! I am a true 7.5 and this was just right with a bit of room in toe box for downhill.
