X Ultra 360 Mid GTX Waterproof Hiking Boots

Brilliant product, lightweight, waterproof, durable and still stylish, recommended

I bought these to replace other Salomon hikers I had that were worn out. I was not expecting them to be so much more insulted than the others I was replacing. The materials in these definitely are an improvement over those other hikers. I have had them for a year and they are holding up very well. I would definitely buy again for a fall/winter/spring hiker.

Have about 15 days in these. Besides the dirt and minor cosmetic pieces, no signs of wear and tear. Function like the day i purchased.

This is my first pair of Salomon boots and I couldn't be happier. Out of the box they fit like they were molded specifically to my feet. The fit is amazingly comfortable and the treads make it seem like I could walk on walls!

I recently picked up a pair of these shoes to use as daily boots for winter dog walks, shovelling driveway and driving. They have been great so far and I would recommend them. They are light and lace up well, super comfortable right out of the box. They are not insulated but a warm pair of socks and an insulated insole upgrade are working great in the frigid weather. They are perfect for driving, grocery runs and daily wear if you don’t want to use a full clunky boot. The contigrip is my biggest complaint - they are slick on the icy sidewalks. To be fair, these are not marketed as a winter boot, so take that for what it is but I expected better. They are perfectly wide in the toe box for my sore feet and they are comfortable to wear for hours. Does the fabric in the toe box make a strange noise when you walk - yup. The insole upgrade took some of the volume out of the toe box and may have solved the issue for me. I got these boots on sale for 40% off and consider them a bargain. For me, these are the perfect footwear for an active outdoorsy type if you pair with a nice warm sock or for mall runs or trips to coffee shop. I can’t comment on the build quality but they look brand new after two weeks of daily winter wear and my feet are warm and dry.

Wish I had all the money I’ve spent trying to find a pair of hiking shoes I could tolerate. I’m happy to say I finally found them, plenty of room in the toe box I can finally wear heavier socks, awesome traction, all day comfort love them!

I’ve had these for 1 year. I hike either Piestewa Peak or Camelback mountain 3-4 days a week. These have been the most durable shoe I have put through the desert punishment. I have tried to wear them out so I can buy a new pair but I can’t seem to break them.

I bought this for my upcoming trip to Europe in a rainy season. So I tried it in a rainy day and walked for 30K in two days. Absolutely comfortable and waterproof. No pain or swelling at all. It's worth mentioning that i have an active life-style so I'm used to long walks and any pain would be from my new shoes! And they did great.

This is my second pair of Ultras, first pair lasted 8 years of frequent trail and snowy hikes. The boot has a firm midsole flexibility and the rubber toe cap protects from cactus kicking and sharp rocks. The boot feels light like a trail shoe without the extra burden of a bulky hiking boots. The upper fabric breathes well and is water resistant. Tread design is outstanding for firm footing on rocky trails. Highly recommended!

Bought a pair while out of town. Right shoe was making a loud popping noise with every step. Can only return them to the same store two hours away. Wife made the trip and was given a new pair. This time it was the left that made the same noise. They now sit in a box waiting for us to have time to make a third trip to that store. Not going to take a chance on a third pair.

I rocked these boots in Iceland and they were great for all terrains. Ice, snow, dirt, you name it. Great option if you are looking for something not too expensive

These boots are very comfortable and the waterproof features are great! I love the traction, they fit snug but didn't leave me any blisters. The laces are strong too.
