A Christmas present for my 18 month old niece

I bought this for my 18 month old niece for Christmas just after a wicked Halloween. I'm hoping her Mammy will appreciate a multipurpose Christmas stocking that can be used for both Christmas and Halloween, spookiness no matter the season. I received a giant, wall-hanging, hand-crafted fabric advent calendar of Santy when I was just a baby and I love it dearly, assuming my sister doesn't take it off the family for her own baby. I'm not so good with a sewing machine so I'm hoping this be similar to my niece. I'm a little unsure about the lights but from a quick inspection I think the battery and lights can be taken out.
