I'm normally a size14. But after reading previous reviews I bought a size 12. I suffer from Lymphoedema so I can't always buy on line. I'm very pleased with it as the sleeves are not too tight The colour is lovely, Will look lovely with black trousers. Ideal for my dressing up night's on my next cruise.

Gorgeous but oddly shaped sequin shirt

I ordered this in my normal M&S size but it was far too wide. I loved the colour, the quality sequin fabric (not tacky as many sequined tops can look) and the stylish design with its plain cuffs so ordered the next size down. So disappointed that even the smaller size was far too wide in the body although the sleeves were normal fit. Was going to order 2 sizes down but infuriatingly they're sold out. The designer should have had different sized models try it on before launching it - they would have said that the body was far too wide even for a 'boxy' design. Because the fabric is sequinned it can't hang loosely or comfortably under the arms as it bunches up and digs in - as well as looking unflattering. Such a shame as otherwise the shirt is gorgeous.

The shirt looks really classy and great for the upcoming festive season. However there is no decent lining so the sequins scratch / irritate your skin - I wanted to keep but knew I wouldn't wear it as it was too uncomfortable - real shame :(

Beautiful heavyweight shirt with quality sequins. Hangs beautifully. Will be well worn. Feels good on, unlike many other sequin tops I’ve tried which fray or shed just trying them on. The colour makes a lovely change from the usual black or red and is much more flattering and easy to wear. The price was my only sticking point but as soon as I had a 20% promo I went for it.

I saw this top in store size8 loved it but it was out of stock in all sizes. I am a size 16 I then saw one on line size14. So I risked it. I love it very good value for money but, the 14 is very big on me.So sadly got to return it.

Loved this blouse as soon as I saw it on line and I am not disappointed with this item . Lovely material and subdued glitter. Lots of sequins but their colour gives this garment a classic look So versatile! Can be worn for a formal evening but equally useful as a jacket or tucked into an expensive pair of black jeans for an up market diner party. This blouse feels and looks much more expensive than it is and covers up a multiple of lumps and bump for my age group (young at heart pensioner) Size 14 fits perfectly and can’t wait for an occasion to wear this blouse Thanks Autograph

I gave this blouse 4 stars , for one reason. I can’t stand anything scratchy on my skin, if this top had been lined I would be keeping it. It would have been worth the extra expense to have it lined, I don’t want to have to start putting anything on underneath it as for me it spoils the effect. It’s such a shame for me as it’s perfect in every other aspect. Maybe the scratchy feel won’t bother others. I can’t wear wool either for the same reason... only cashmere or merino... the color for this top is gorgeous.

Beautiful dark cherry coloured blouse with detail on the cuffs. Perfect for winter evenings out. Not brash at all despite the amount of sequins - absolutely love it!
