Secret Slimming™ Samba Snake Print Swimsuit

This was a lovely swimsuit apart from the pin-like item at the neck. The one I received had this pin shaped like a horse shoe so that every time you moved the pin disappeared into the material. I went into M&S the next day to see if they were all the same, Some had the pin like the one I had received while others had the pin the other way up - after looking at it carefully decided it would cause more trouble that it was worth so returned it. Such a shame the neckline had not had more thought put into it, very disappointed.

I have a very similar costume in fact it is the same style but this one the top half was very small and didn't fit properly. Also wasn't keen on the colour.

Very pretty colours. Nice to see something different. Not a good fit though. Not nearly enough support around the bust. The fabric was just not firm enough. And I honestly do not know what the secret slimming panel does. It makes absolutely no difference to any of the M and S costumes I've tried on. Even more disappointing, was the fact that, just while trying on, the ball end of the semi-circular gold embellishment popped down into the lining and was a devil of a job to get out. I figured this would be happening a lot. A pretty idea but it left a lot of gaping, unsupported cleavage on show in my case because it was not held together firmly enough. Overall, it seemed like a costume on its last legs, not its first! I expect better quality from M and S, especially at this price. Btw the hygiene panel kept falling off while I tried the costume on. I was wearing underwear of course but these strips do not inspire much confidence as a health protection measure.
