About this bottle: Here’s something really unique: an Italian white made in the ‘appassimento’ style. To craft this wine, the Garganega grapes were partially dried after picking to concentrate and intensify their flavours, giving the wine its gorgeous deep fruitiness, seductive floral notes and velvety mouthfeel.

Vintage: 2015

Crisp, rounded and balanced with flavours of lemon curd, tropical fruits, lime zest.

About this bottle: This is a lovely Australian take on Bordeaux’s much overlooked Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc blend. Produced in New South Wales’ cool climate Central Ranges region, winemaker Debbie Lauritz has achieved the perfect balance of luscious citrussy Semillon and crisp, tropical Sauvignon.

Rounded, complex and elegant with flavours of guava, ripe melon, flowers and minerals.

About this bottle: Here’s a formidable South African Chenin Blanc from the high quality Agter-Paarl district. The grapes were sourced from dry-farmed vineyards, with the winemakers blending in Viognier and Roussanne to add depth and complexity. We love this wine’s elegance, richness and layered flavours.

About this bottle: Hailing from a single vineyard in northwest Spain’s historic Ribeiro region called Torre do Olivar, this highly characterful white is a something rather special. Made in small quantities from the local Treixadura, Torrontes and Godello grapes, we love this wine’s freshness and purity of fruit flavour.

About this bottle: Here’s a lovely rich Chardonnay full of mouthwatering tropical fruit flavours. 2016 was a hot, dry vintage, and you can really taste the ripeness here. The grapes were from mature vineyards in the village of Cabezan, and the winemakers aged 30% of the wine in oak to give it a nice buttery richness.

Vintage: 2015

Intense, complex and aromatic with aromas of tropical citrus fruits, wild mint and vanilla.

About this bottle: We love this deliciously ‘old school’ Portuguese white, a blend of indigenous grape varieties hand harvested from old vines on the Douro Valley’s ancient terraced vineyards. Made to traditional winemaking methods and partially aged in oak, the wine has an elusive complexity and wonderful length.
