Useful and attractive top

I have worn this as a summer top and look forward to wearing it as an extra layer later in the year. However, it seems to have lost its shape after a couple of wearings, especially the ribbing round the bottom, and I'm wondering if washing will improve it or make it more shapeless. Time will tell.
