Pure Cotton Chevron Prom Dress with Belt

Haven't worn it out yet but looking forward to an occasion where I can!! Fits well, a little loose around top for a size 6 but that's just my body shape (small up top). Lovely quality frock!

Loved the style of this little dress! The quality is good and the fit perfect 10! The only negative is the pressing so I bought myself a steamer and it works a treat! Can't wait for Ascot and Henley!

The moment I saw this dress, I knew it was a "must have" They only had a size10 in-store I bought it, so as not to miss out completely. I then went online, and saw a size 12, and immediately snapped it up, its a perfect fit. The cut, the drape of the dress and the colour contrast combines to give the dress that look of effortless chic, that is so hard to achieve. I found the length is just right. not too long or short. The cotton lining gives it weight, and adds to the nice feel of the material on the skin. To say I love this dress is an understatement. Even total strangers have complimented me on the dress. My only quibble is that the zip is not all the way to the top...which makes it awkward to put on, especially with make up on. That is a small detail in the overall scheme of how stunning this dress is. I am so pleased to own it.

This double G chest of mine normally means dresses are a no-no! Thanks for highlighting the generous cut of this dress' bodice...I bought one! It fitted! I'm happy!

A little large in he neck line but otherwise very happy with the dress. I like the longer length in this style

I bought this dress for a first date and wore it with the M&S black leather cage sandals Looked stunning and he thought so too ! So much so we are going on a 2nd date !!.... woo hoo

Similarly to some of the other reviews, I feel this looks much better on the hanger than on person. Firstly - the incomplete side zip - should have been a full side zip with a hook and eye at the top. Unsure why less than 0.5cm was sewn up at the top. It just made it more difficult to get in and out of. This would also cause issues for making sure the dress stayed make-up free when pulling it on and off. Secondly - I have an apple-ish figure in a size 12. I'm not particularly big on top but this really didn't do much for me at all. I couldn't fill the top out so the top did not fit nicely around my bust, torso or back. The skirt lacked movement so just made me look bulked out on the bottom half and would easily crease. Think it needed to be heavier and swing better as a circle skirt or lighter and a different material. Had hoped the other reviews were wrong when I ordered as I was different shape/size, but unfortunately not. Looked a really nice dress, sad that it didn't do anything for me.

This dress is just perfect. I wanted it for a christening and it looked great, stylish but elegant.

This dress is lovely in every way, though a little pricey. However, it is a "go anywhere" style which I can envisage being dressed up or down according to the weather and occasion. For me, size 10 and height 5ft7" it is a perfect fit. If I were to have a criticism, it would be that the tie belt should be a little longer.
