Very disappointed in this as a post surgery bra and would not buy again as it’s a waste of money for me. The hooks at the front are very difficult to manage even if you havnt just had surgery, plus there is lining seam right across the middle of the main section of the bar each side which is very uncomfortable after surgery and leaves indentations on the skin, not sure why you wouldn’t just have a smooth piece of fabric , poor design, I would have returned it but it was only after wearing for a few hrs that these issues became apparent.

Bought post breast cancer surgery thinking it would be easy to fasten.. very fiddly.. hooks get caught when trying to thread the loops and Velcro doesn’t lie flat.. disappointing.

Sadly I was disappointed - after a booked bra fitting, there was nothing in my size to try on. Ordered from store to my local Food Hall. The bras did not fit, plus the hooks and eyes are very fiddly for arthritic fingers. It was good to hear no VAT but I now have to return bras for a refund. I suggest, when booking a bra fitting, you ask what bra size is, so that at least 1 may be available to try on?

Fiddly to do up
Nice bra, but the hooks are difficult to do so just used the Velcro to fasten after my surgery as very fiddly, think a zip would be better which is what the hospital advised but could not find them in my store.

Lovely and comfortable bra but SO hard to fasten and unfasten. Given that women using these have had breast surgery may I suggest you review the hooks? The bra I was given by the hospital had a zip fastener which was brilliant. I was going to buy a few from M&S by only kept one. Instead I’ve ordered some the same brand as the hospital provided even though they are much more expensive.

I bought two of these bras to wear after having a lumpsectomy. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews about difficulty fastening. Personally I had no problem with the hooks I started from the top and then secured with the velcro. Having no fastening at the back made it very comfortable whilst having to sleep on my back after surgery another bonus you can adjust the straps from the front.

Very comfortable if you get the Velcro in exactly the right place otherwise it ridges and rubs at the bottom. The hooks are a bit fiddly too if putting on by yourself.

Good support.
This bra gives a lot of needed support after surgery . The material is nice and soft. The only down side are the little hook fasteners at the front. I struggled with them and needed help doing them up. The person helping struggled as well so I’m only using the Velcro as a fastener and that didn’t stay put overnight making it very uncomfortable to sleep in.

I found the bra easy to order online and for it to arrive as soon as possible. The material is soft and comfortable, but as with many other reviews, the fastenings in the front are quite tricky. I believe I’ve got over this by stepping into the bra while it is already hooked and bringing it up to where it should be, but I suppose that would depend on if a person might have too much discomfort in doing this, but having said this trying to do the hooks up yourself when you have surgical wounds can also cause discomfort. I wonder whether a plastic zip would be better than those tricky hooks? But all in all, once it is on, it is comfortable and has the benefit of cup adjustments as well as strap adjustments.

Bought for post surgery. Thought front fastening would be easier to get on. Looks like something out of the 1950's Very uncomfortable after 1st days wear. Velcro awkward to lie flat unless properly lined up. Couldn't wait to get the thing off !

The bra is soft and comfortable and feels really secure. The only issue is the front fastening hooks are so tricky to do up and they would be impossible for the patient to do up without help from someone else.
