This is a lovely romantic dress. It hangs nicely and is comfortable to wear. It is thin fabric, but would probably be ok with tights and boots in the winter for a bit of warmth. I am between a 16 and 18, and the 16 fitted nicely. The length is just below mid-calf.

Lovely dress but…
I was really disappointed when I tried on this dress. I think it’s more for a tall-ish person - I’m only 5’1” - so with the puff sleeves it completely swamped me! Sadly returned.

Looks lovely on the tall model, purchased 12 petite, skirt length perfect but neckline falls too low on the body and not petite fit, such a shame so returned, normally sizrpe 10, but comes up small

I am so thrilled that M&S seems to be doing more dresses in tall length. It means the fitted waist on this dress actually hits me on the waist (as I have a long torso). It fits well there and over my hips. I also found it to be true to size for an M&S 16 on top. The material is light and the square neckline is something different. A win all round.
