Short length are a perfect fit for me at 5ft 3. The material is a soft but heavy denim so they hang well. Love this style, especially the elasticated waist!

I have these in two other colours and was delighted to see the indigo ones in for the new season. I get the medium 12-14 and at 5’8 they are nice and long. These are comfortable with a stretch waist and still look very smart. Would love to see more of this fabric in black and a lighter denim.
