Enormous!
Yes, I recommend this
I knew this was large but it's like a tent! I've not been able to try out the heat as its still too warm weather, but I'm sure it'll be great. Need to share it with another person though!

Not sure
No, I don't recommend this
Supersoft, warm & cosy, but I do wonder how this passed quality control since it’s such a struggle to detach the lead. If you want to move about, it's not easy, plus the placement of the lead is very awkward to reach. Ideal if you're sitting on the sofa. It's very bulky so not appropriate for a Teams meeting. And yes, the hole where you put your head through is unusually small.

Nice garment but faulty power cable attachment
I liked the fleece but had to return it because I could not separate the power cable from the attachment fixed to the fleece

Very warm
Very cosy blanket in a generous size. I don’t doubt it will be very warm in the winter .

Stiff socket
No, I don't recommend this
The blanket itself is great, not that heavy heavy but very soft and warm. The socket for heating is super stiff, feels like it could be broken if plug-in and out in few more times

As described
Yes, I recommend this
The product description is accurate. It is large, very warm and does a good job in the conditions it is intended for.

Difficult to disconnect the controls
No, I don't recommend this
This is a great way to keep warm. It’s cosy even without the heating on. It would be much better if the controls connected to the front where they can be seen. It’s quite stiff to disconnect too. It would be nice to heating elements front and back

Handy warm cover

Present for occasional home worker who used this while keeping home heating lower.

Very cosy and relaxing but bulky
Yes, I recommend this
This is wonderfully warm and relaxing, however it is thick and bulky. The heated part is down the back, but I have unpoppered it and used it as a blanket too. It’s a shame that the wire connection is very stiff to pull out so I have to unplug it whenever I need to more, tucking the cable and plug into the pouch. Bought one for my son too who loves it!

Game changer!
Yes, I recommend this
Quite voluminous but a game changer for working from home! No more daytime central heating. So warm. Often worn on own without plugging it in. Quite big so you have to roll sleeves up to get any work done.

So snuggly soft
Yes, I recommend this
I first had the hooded one without the electric part and was very pleased (if you are in a budget that and a hot water bottle work like a charm) but as a birthday treat I picked this up. Wow! It is so good! Heats up nice and quickly. Feels so soft, it’s big enough to use as a blanket or hoodie. I’ll be hiding out until if warm up outside, I wish I had this sooner. Also cheaper than putting the heating on and if you have a hubby that doesn’t feel the cold it’s ideal. It wasn’t available in store so I had to order online.

Save money and keep warm
Recipient was delighted with this - it is keeping her warm and saving money as it runs on about a lightbulb's worth of electricity .

Heavyweight Heated Fleece Electric Hooded Blanket
Purchased for my 89 year old dad and he loves it. Great for an older person watching their winter energy bills.

Cosy and warm

Lovely and warm, very soft, perfect for WFH on cold days. I only wish I looked slightly more professional in it!

Quite heavy and bulky but very warm
Yes, I recommend this
The hooded blanket is very warm. However it is not for walking around the house as it is quite heavy and very big but well worth that inconvenience to keep warm.

Almost perfect
This is a really soft & cosy hooded blanket. It's a really good insulator so if you need to be kept warm it works really well. I'm not so sure about the heated bit though. The heating pad is only in the upper back part (and this is not clear in the product description) so if you need to be warmed up, it's not so good & my upper back isn't usually the bit that gets cold. As others have said, because it's a rectangular blanket there is a lot of fabric around the arms & it is bulky - not ideal if you want to sit & knit. Also, the mains cable comes out in an awkward place on the back, so it's hard to get out if you want to move around. To be honest, I have hardly used the heating element and generally wear it with the mains cable taken off. If you want a heated blanket, you might be better off with something that has a larger heating area, or if you want a cosy hoodie, you might be better off without the additional cost & weight of the heating pad.

Cosy and warm
Yes, I recommend this
So warm and cosy! Doubles up as a sort of electric blanket. The only draw back is that you have to stay plugged into the wall if you want it on and whilst the sleeves mean you can keep working, they can get slightly in the way (that's just me being picky). It's been invaluable through this cold snap and working from home.
