Add the butter (90 g), dark chocolate (100 g), milk chocolate (130 g) and golden syrup (30 g) to a heatproof bowl and set over a pan of boiling water. Mix until completely melted. Remove from the heat and stir in the milk (75 ml).

Meanwhile, roughly chop the munch mix (250 g). Make sure to chop the pretzels slightly smaller than the rest otherwise you won’t get a clean slice once set.

Add the munch mix to the chocolate and stir to combine. Leave the mixture in a cool place for about 25 minutes, until it has set slightly but is not completely hard.

Line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper, spoon the cooled mix into the centre, and mould into a salami-shaped log. Roll it up into the greaseproof paper and twist the ends, like a Christmas cracker. Pop the tray into the fridge for about 5 hours to set.

Once set, unravel the salami log and sift the icing sugar over the top. Using clean hands, rub the icing sugar (15 g) into the chocolate log, coating the sides and bottom. Cut into slices and serve.
