Heat the oven to 220°C/200°C fan/gas mark 7. Add the meatballs (24) and soffritto (300 g) to a large roasting dish. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil then place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes, until the meatballs are brown.

Add the Italian herb seasoning (1 tbsp) and tomato, garlic and herb paste (3 tbsp) along with the tomato sauce (500 g) to the tray. Return to the oven for a further 20 minutes.

Top with the garlic bread (425 g) followed by the grated parmesan (80 g). Change the oven to a high grill, and pop back in for a further 3 to 5 minutes, until the bread is golden on top.

Serve alongside the rosa verde salad (1 bag), drizzled with some rich balsamic dressing (1 tbsp).
