Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan. Grease a round cake tin.

Beat the butter (175 g) and sugar (200 g) until pale and creamy, then mix in the egg (1) and egg yolk.

Combine the flour (250 g), cornflour (2 tsp) and baking powder (1 tsp), then fold through the egg, butter and sugar mix. Add the chunks of chocolate (100 g) and stir until evenly combined.

Pour into the cake tin and bake for 20 minutes or until light brown.

Remove from the oven and gently press in the chicky choccy speckled eggs (1 handful). Allow to cool slightly, then serve with ice cream or double cream.
