tree has received lots of compliments and does look very pretty ... used as a secondary tree on a sideboard. it's pre lit but the lights are not very strong/bright and the batteries it came with ran out within a couple of days. i put it in a bigger pot ... think i would have preferred a plug in tree as it's a pain keep having to change the batteries

Lovely tree but lights did not last long
I loved this little tree initially and the price was very reasonable, especially with a discount. It looks realistic and is quite dense. The little lights were quite subdued though barely visible really, and I needed to buy a pack of lights which helped a lot. After 10 days the tree's integral lights failed completely. I assumed the batteries had run out but after changing the batteries it was apparent the lights themselves had stopped working and I returned the tree. Very disappointing.

Okay-ish
Not as expected, as it is covered in tiny pieces of fake snow, which fall from it like dandruff when you touch it. Very irritating. It also makes the foliage look paler. The snow effect was not mentioned in the description and I would not have chosen it if it had. It arrived very squashed in a box that was too small and took quite a lot of adjusting to achieve the correct shape. Looks quite effective now it's decorated, however. As a previous review stated, the batteries supplied don't last long but they are easy to replace.

Very pleased with the tree, perfect size for my window and looks very realistic. Perfect for my collection of small decorations. The only slight downside is the fake snow on the tree, it really isn't needed, falls off when the tree is touched and was everywhere when I unpacked the tree!

Tree itself is ok, but lights are poor, bordering on insignificant. Batteries included - but only lasted a couple of short display times! Overall, I wouldn't recommend.

This review should have been a firm 5 stars but the stem is lopsided and firmly set in the pot. I intend to pack it with decorations to disguise this as I need it now. Other than that it's a lovely little tree and ideal, in principle, for those who can't accommodate a larger tree but still require scope to decorate. I'm unable to pursue a minimalist Scandi style, for example, with mine. I think that it would be useful for M&S to discuss quality control with the supplier.
