Wool Silk Blend Straight Leg Trousers

Gorgeous fit. High quality fabric looks formal and stays looking very smart. Don’t wear it with a cashmere jumper, though!

I wanted some smart trousers to wear with a silk Autograph shirt I have. These fitted beautifully, waist perfect, length good. (I'm 5.4 and ordered short). However, with the silk shirt, there was too much static for the shirt to hang right so, reluctantly, they were returned. Otherwise I would have kept them.

I bought these with the matching jacket to make a very smart suit. Good high waisted and comfortable trousers. I wear regular length. These were a little long to wear with flats but fine with a heel.

[Employee of marksandspencer-en_gb] Loverly trousers the fit is perfect.and they hang well. Light weight material and does not crease. They are a bit expensive but you get the quiailty and fit so its worth paying that little bit extra.added bonus for me 20% off on my sparks card.

These trousers were too big in the waist and far too long, Material was nice but not as thick as I thought. Had to return.

I just can't work out how the sizings can be so different across different pairs of M&S trousers. These were too short, and too snug in the waist. Yet I ordered the same size (16 short) in a different style of trousers less than a week before I ordered these ones... they were the perfect length, and I was considering exchanging them for a 14 because they were quite generous in the sizing! Have had to return these - they look like they shrank in the wash!

Have been looking for a well fitting black trouser suit for a while now, even trying on expensive Designed labels, but without success. Then I found this really great trouser suit at M & S and can honestly say that I am delighted. It fits well, I am 5' 8" and a size 14/16 depending on the cut. The fit is perfect (I bought Size 16) and the length of the trousers is just right. I bought the Jacket first and was so pleased that I thought it might be worth giving the trousers a try. They have obviously sold out very quickly but I was just lucky. Well done M&S, I would love to find one in a cream or off-while for the Summer and would snap it up. Good quality and very good value for money, thank you.

Ordered, as always one size 10 and another size 12. The 10 too small the 12 fitted well except for the waist which has always been my problem since quite young. Sometimes I get lucky and the 12 waist isn't far off my measurement but that hasn't happened in the last 2 years. Think it's time to think elastic waistbands. Trouble with elastic waistbands is the trouser material isn't good enough for 'going out'. Anyone got any suggestions?

your short length trousers appear to be longer than they were and I always need to have them altered. I think it would be better if they were labelled with the accurate inside leg measurement rather than, short, regular, long etc. They were returned although I liked the fabric quality.

The texture is fabulous, gives a feel of quality. Perfect. Well pleased.

I’ve been looking for some decent black trousers and these didn’t disappoint. I’ve only worn them a couple of times but they will definitely get plenty of wear. A bit expensive, but when you want something good you pay the price!

I first thought they were slightly too wide but that's because I usually wear tight slim trousers. I bought them for smart evening wear and I love them. The length was perfect for my 5ft 3in height.Great buy. I haven't washed them yet...

I bought these to replace a similar pair bought a while ago. I have had several pairs of wool/silk trousers from Autograph and rated them highly. However, I do not feel that they are the quality and fit of my previous ones. The material is much thinner. I bought them on the 20% discount as I certainly wouldn’t have given £59 for them, generally a bit disappointed.
