Velvet Pencil Pleat Curtains

The quality of the curtains definitely is higher than the cost - I mis-read the description and bought two packs thinking the price was for one curtain. They really look so good in our living room and the room feels warmer and has a cosy atmosphere in the evenings. So pleased with them. I'm now perusing for another purchase for the bedroom.

I could not be happier with these velvet pencil pleat curtains in dark ochre, which I bought in the sale. The quality exceeds my expectations. The sewing is faultless. The lining and velvet is of quality material. The velvet material feels like your hand is running through lightly whipped cream. I have hung them in my sitting room bay window and I have used 4 panels (w 218cm x drop 183cm) in total for that rich full curtain look. I have not found any fault or blemish at all in the material of any of the 4 panels. In the sunshine the colour is of burnished gold and in ceiling light they are a lovely caramel colour. They block out the light really well and I think would be good for bedroom windows too. I ironed them using slightly above the 2 dot setting on my iron on the lining side only (do not iron the velvet side!) and it took out practically all the creases in the velvet, and hanging them up took out all the slight remaining creases, so I recommending ironing them before hanging them. Test which is the best iron setting first on a small area of the lining on a low heat and then increase the heat gradually until you get the perfect heat which does take out the creases without melting the fabric! There is real danger of doing this and you don’t want to ruin your beautiful new curtains. I’m very very happy I bought them. I highly recommend these curtains.

Very pleased with these curtains, good value. Lovely smooth and soft fabric. Well made. Pencil pleat gathers nicely and they hang well. They are not as thick as I thought they would be but they keep the light out so I can sleep a little longer these lighter mornings! Extra bonus - label says they are washable at 30 degrees.

Lovely curtains rich in colour well made great length look expensive when hung are thinner than expected but still really happy with the look & quality of the curtains .easier to hang than heavier curtains .keeps the chill out of the room from my large window

I bought these in the sale and they fit beautifully in their place. Very fes creases to worry about and we've noticed how much warmer the room is now.

The fabric feels smooth and soft. I love the forest green. These curtains look good quality.
