The indigo version is grey

Just received them in what is described and shown as indigo but they're not blue at all. Instead they're an industrial grey. Also, the soles look a bit plasticky and cheap IRL. Might be a good deal now that they're 25% off (writing in mid-February 2026).

For some reason new balance is all Over the place with sizing for me. Usually size ten fits slightly loose but then other times seem too small

Everything about this shoe meets and exceeded my expectations. It looks great, feels great, and is terrific for walking/running on asphalt, ground, wooded areas, and almost anyplace except perhaps racetracks.

Like the shoe so far, have only hiked 6 miles (one hike) so far, had to pull the insoles from my New Balance running shoes to replace the ‘insoles’ that came with the shoe…NB should state that insoles are required and have links to the various ones available and then you could purchase them at the same time as the shoes? I have 5 pairs of NB, 3 running,1 casual shoe and now these. All have NB insoles, but I was expecting a hiking shoe to have at least as a substantial insoles as the running shoes came with, but alas…no. So the jury is still out, after my next hike with the NB insolws in we will see how they perform? But just be aware that NB or orthotics is recommended for sure.
