Cotton Modal Blend Striped Nightshirt

I wore this nightshirt for 3 nights, This shirt was very comfortable to wear, it looked great and was very baggy, just how I like shirts. I washed the shirt, dried it on a hanger on the line as I do with most shirts (helps with ironing) upon ironing. I noticed lists of threads hanging out of the placket. So I explained it more closely. The raw seam of the packet hasn’t been finished correctly. It’s not overlocked or topstitched to encase the raw edges meaning as the fabric moves its weave frays. After one wash the weave had frayed. In addition to this, there was no interfacing (stabiliser) within the placket, as this fabric is a cotton and modal blend spabiliser is needed to add strength to the fabric for the button holes and the buttons. The lower button had created a ladder in the fabric and already started to tear. This is a design flaw. Now for the overlocked edges, the tension on the overlocker was causing the edges to fray at the shoulders.

Very nice quality & fit but not really me needed something less bold
