Secret Slimming™ Palm Print Tankini Top

Had to return. Agree with most other reviews, the cup sizes are mis-sized and way too big. I really liked the length as other tankinis I have tried can often come up too short. The halterneck straps are definitely too long and although the gap in the back 'looks' nice, if you are a little overweight, its not flattering at all! I would have bought a smaller cupsize if it didn't have the gap. Real shame.

I liked this Tankini as it is very difficult to buy clothes when you have a size 34G bra size. I found this just about fitted but the two straps spoiled the garment, I didnt want this thick strap around my neck. Considered cutting it off but felt for the price it was not a good idea, therefore I returned the garment along with the bikini bottoms. So difficult to find a tankini with a bra cup, so frustrating. Will carry on with my old "Gorgeous" tankinis!

I am normally 34F but based on previous reviews and the fact that M&S doesn't sell swimwear for bigger cup sizes, I opted for 34E and the cups were still too big! I could fit my hand in them. The design was also a bit odd in that there was the halter neck straps which could be tied plus other detachable straps in either crossover or normal position. I couldn't work out how to tie the halter neck straps if I also had the normal straps attached - very odd. So it's been returned I'm afraid. It was good quality and would have been good value for money if it had fitted properly and the straps made sense. One thing I would like to ask is why if M&S does bras in bigger cup sizes, why can't you do swimwear? I see lots of nice swimsuits in size 8/10/12/14 etc but never with actual cup sizes for those of us more well endowed. Shame as we end up paying a small fortune having to go to specialist suppliers.

I ordered this in store after seeing a one piece in the shop with 'lingerie fitting'. After speaking with an assistant we found this tankini top online and as it seemed to be the only one with the same lingerie fitting I ordered it - I was measured as well and on that basis I ordered 2 sizes knowing I would return one. Then I went home and read the reviews. I really hope M&S are reading these because they are all correct - the fit is terrible - both sizes were too big in the cup; the secret slimming is non existent - I tried on another secret slimming tankini style in the shop and the difference was obvious; and what you're meant to do with the extremely long ties I really don't know! The most obvious thing is to tie them halter neck style but then you have this huge scarf like thing hanging down you back. Otherwise there are no hints as to what to do with them. They're not detachable like the straps so you're stuck with them. Picked these up in the shop, tried them on and they were returned immediately. What a waste of time - and really overpriced as well. Not good.

Such a shame. Impossible to do up AND undo by yourself because of the clip. Maybe ok for beach if you have someone with you but don't venture into a swimming pool changing room by yourself, you will never get it on or off!!

I tried my proper bra size and the cups were far too big so I went down to from DD to C and it fitted perfect,

I like the styling of this top but the fit is peculiar. My usual bra size was far too big so got the next size down which is an ok but not perfect fit. Like others have said the secret slimming aspect is non existent but then I can't really see how you could have this with a tankini top. Not sure about the options with the long ties, they seem very fiddly and it's not obvious how to secure them. Will probably not use the straps but just use the ties as a halter neck. Bought on a 20% off offer, Don't think I would have paid full price!

I've always bought M & S tankinis in the past, never one with a specific bra size, so I'd give this one a go! Oh dear! The bra size was good (I did like the back fastening), but it was way too long for those of us vertically challenged (I'm 5' 2"), like others said there is no secret slimming and I found the colour odd - kind of black and 'dirty white', like white swimwear looks when it's been in too much chlorine. Expensive for what it is as well. It's going back!

Unfortunately I had to return it. I bought it in the same size as I do bras from M&S but it was too big. I hoped to get a smaller cup size but none were available, even on-line which is a shame as it is only the start of the holiday season. It is a lovely tankini top and would recommend it but please M&S check your sizing !!!!

I ordered two different sizes of this tankini but both did not fit. The cup sizes on both were very odd and stuck out. Also the different strap options were very confusing and I did not know what to do with them, I don't know what M&S have done this year with there swimwear but I have tried ordering different styles and still no success for my upcoming holiday. I have now ordered from a different company and am very pleased with it.
