Truly nuts sizing

Originally posted on www.whitestuff.com

I am the same height as the model in the pictures - on whom these trousers appear slightly cropped. 'Good,' I thought. 'I'll be wearing those with my brown derby brogue boots, so a little crop is just what I need.' More fool me. When the trousers I found them to be so long, they actually dragged on the ground. Bonkers. There is no way a 'reguar' trouser should be touching the ground on a man my height. 'Regular' means an inseam of 31-32" at most. These seemed more like 36". Because they already have a manufactured turn-up, there was no sensible way of altering the length. That's all academic, though, because an even bigger problem was the waist. I ordered my actual waist measurement (taken that day with a tape measure, just to make sure) but when the trousers arrived the waist was so bid I didn't even touch the sides. The matching blazer, which I also purchased at the same time, was similarly way out of spec. What's going on with your sizing, White Stuff?
