INCORRECT ON-LINE DESCRIPTION
Purchased because they were described on-line as having an elasticated waist. THEY HAVE NOT. The fabric of the main garment is stretchy, but the waist band is solid, with no give at all

An unfortunate change from my last pair

I don't get much choice looking for 35inch legs in trousers, so I'm massively grateful that M&S sometimes have them in stock. These trousers are good and fit the length I need. Unfortunately there has been a change to the waist band compared to my last pair. There is only a single button. My older pair had 2 and fit securely. They also sit a bit higher and unfortunately the comfort reduces as a result. I will probably buy again because I can get the length I need. But these are a downgrade on my previous pair. That's a shame.

Bought these chinos for a holiday for my husband. He is short legged and they had 27 leg so they fit perfectly in the leg and waist, also being stretch helps with expansion when sitting. They are nice material and look very smart

The quality and colour are very good. The fit at the waist and hips are also good. The disappointing feature is the length of the chinos. The illustrations show them rolled up, which is fine as an alternative when walking in a beach. However in a normal setting with the legs unrolled they are too long. The advertised leg length only applies to the rolled up version.

Reliable and a good fit however they were 1inch longer than others I have so they had to be taken up. I can’t bear seeing concertinaed trouser bottoms.
