delighted with the light: would have been helpful if the wiring had been colour coded,

I purchased a pair of these lights for my drawing room and they are stunning. They are extremely well made and heavy and they look so glamorous, quite art deco in styling. I've had some great comments. I would definitely recommend.

I say partial as I did not remove the lamp from the box. As I opened the box I could see immediately that the part of the lamp which attaches to the ceiling was too large for my particular ceiling rose. It was approx 5 or 6 inches diameter. I believe this dimention should have been in the product description. Rather dissapointed as I loved the picture of the lamp. Also if I had been able to see the lamp in the flesh then I would obviously have not ordered it. So impossible for me to review, I just wanted to highlight my problem to,help others.
