Amazing muscle car

Perfect muscle car addition. Color is a bit crazy, but I've seen one of these in real life so I approve :) What I love is that there are no stickers in this set. All logos are pre-printed on the bricks and it is a massive improvement. Try it and you will understand. The engine cover is a bit on a loose side, but it holds even when my son plays with it, just needs a little adjustment when going back to display. I personally like the lights on this car, they are done very well and I would love if all cars have clear bricks lights instead of the stickers.

No two speed champions are the same. This was a really different build approach and delivered a solid model car. The subtle touch’s on the badges are excellent, so under stated and yet still catch your eye. I loved that the driver looks period / style specific….. so cool. I loved the way the dash went together - all tiger unique. Please continue to add more to the range.

Must Have Speed Champion

Great build with various techniques for a Speed Champions set, showcasing the latest design approaches. I hope these will be adopted in upcoming models. Lots of custom parts, special wheels, and no stickers! I wish the quality of some parts were more consistent, as the finishing varies across pieces - something I'd attribute to recent manufacturing shifts or expanded production facilities, but I think that's inevitable. All in all, a MUST HAVE, and the best Speed Champions set I've built so far in terms of build experience, highly recommend!

The worst Lego set I've ever built.

The entire engineering of this model was poorly thought out. A solid Lego design has major connecting pieces secured by several overlapping pieces, and this car is entirely the opposite. For instance the side fender and back spoiler side 7 pieces entirely attached by a single dot (see picture 1). Most of the side is not securely attached. The center console with the dash and steering wheel are attached by an awkward 2 dot and pole which does not align well. At the 4th from last step, I had to undo about 30 steps to find that I made no mistakes, the design is just poorly fitted. Then the entire windshield is attached above that making the entire car flimsy and easy to break. I've spent around $1500 on Legos this year, and this was by far the worse.

FANTASTIC

Absolutely fantastic. I’ve built all but one or two of the two seater Speed Champions cars and this one is the best by far. Most of them are great as far as looks go, but as far as building the experience goes, this one is the best one to date. The building techniques, (most of which I don’t even know what they’re called) were unbelievable, and the way y’all tied them all together and made the car look that clean was truly incredible. Honestly it felt like y’all were just showing off 😂. Thank you so much, keep up the great work!

The best Speed Champions build yet

Definitely recommend this set. The minifigure has a cool jacket design, but the whole car is very well done! It does wear my favorite type of tires, the slicks, but that's not all, the best part of this set is that there are NO STICKERS! Only six of the pieces are printed, including the Hellcat logos on the sides! If anyone wants to enjoy a clean build but hate putting on or straightening the stickers on a LEGO set, this is DEFINITELY the one to get! You did a very good job on this car and I will definitely build some more cars in the near future!

Bad build experience

Instructions given make it very easy to make mistakes, set becomes extremely fragile the more you build it. Got 95% done the set just to have to completely restart as the dash and window won't lineup with the back of the car. Can no longer finish this set and it will be collecting dust, VERY frustrating build and wasted 2 hours.

How they managed to get this much detail into this set while also having zero stickers? Superb. I’m a big muscle car fan and seeing this lime-green monster be announced was really exiting; building it and displaying it is even better. This thing is phenomenal, and I have it right next to my speed champions mustang dark horse and ford GT.

But then it fails. At step 102 the assembly of the dashboard starts. The resulting part doesn't fit into the car (step 112). The issues are at multiple spots. Firstly the clips placed in step 11 (part 6344754) are too low for the dashboard to clic into. If, by losing bricks, this is managed, the second fault occurs. At step 113 a flat plate has to be placed (part 450182), this will not fit as it will conflict with the parts (6020193) from step 103. Also there will be a gap between the black pieces of the hood and the dashboard. When, again by loosely fitting the bricks, all these steps are completed, of course the windscreen in step 118 won't fit. I have checked multiple times if I've made mistakes, or if bricks needed to be placed differently, but I can't conclude anything else than poor design by Lego. @ Lego, your standard reply on the negative reviews for this set is not helpful, you can do better.

The pictures don't do this set justice. No stickers, four printed pieces... so happy about that! Some unique building techniques, especially in the rear quarter panels, I was amazed how those came together. Sturdy! The end result is an attractive addition to my collection. Enjoy!

Just finished the set after starting a while ago. Th roof doesnt line up properly. Got to the last few steps realised id messed up on previous steps and had to redo and not the easiet to redo of u do mess up and especially without knoicking out or pulling ofher pieces. I thought when i bought it looks quite good bit when making realised its not that good a build. The back end is uneededly made of small bricks when bigger bricks could have been used. As a fan of the brick built this isnt one the best. Feels more lile a technic car build than a brick built one

Unfortunately the hooks that attach the dash on are not aligned properly and will cause it all to fall apart upon trying to put the windshield on. Expected much better design from Lego.

Fun Build, Great Mopar Set!

I’m a big Mopar guy, so have been eyeballing this set to go with my other Mopar builds. Having built several other Speed Champion Set I was a little surprised by the advanced building techniques. They were not hard. By was fun to see how everything was connected. It was an enjoyable build and I like the final results. I want to use some of the techniques from this build for a custom Barracuda build I want to do. TLDR: fun build, great building techniques. Recommended for muscle car and Mopar fans.

Collecting sets in this series continues to be fun, each vehicle has several unique build elements or techniques which add variety, no two are the same. This one stands out with color, shape, and best of all, no stickers! A top-shelf build from start to finish.
