LEGO Speed Champions Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Sports Car 77237(9+ Yrs)

I’m a big Mopar guy, so have been eyeballing this set to go with my other Mopar builds. Having built several other Speed Champion Set I was a little surprised by the advanced building techniques. They were not hard. By was fun to see how everything was connected. It was an enjoyable build and I like the final results. I want to use some of the techniques from this build for a custom Barracuda build I want to do. TLDR: fun build, great building techniques. Recommended for muscle car and Mopar fans.

Collecting sets in this series continues to be fun, each vehicle has several unique build elements or techniques which add variety, no two are the same. This one stands out with color, shape, and best of all, no stickers! A top-shelf build from start to finish.

I love the color of the set and it was a pretty easy build.

Soild build without stickers! My son likes the color and is able to handle it without it breaking.

I love the way the headlights are represented on this model, so slick. It looks amazing and has minimal stickers, which is always a bonus

Save your money. Don’t waste it on this terrible set. The designer that made this set was also working on the new Shelby Cobra from the LEGO Icons lineup. I assume that all of his attention and focus was on the Shelby and the Challenger was a distracting afterthought. The build employs a bunch of unnecessarily complicated techniques and is very sloppy. The worst parts of the build have to be the window gaps on both sides of the car and the rear quarter panels. There are so many visible seams on the quarter panels, I have no idea how this design was approved by ANYONE at LEGO. This set is also missing stickers. A lot of LEGO builders really enjoy applying stickers to their builds. LEGO didn’t give any of them the chance to scratch that itch. This set is boring and looks stupid.

I'm a Mopar guy and love all things Dodge. This really captures the look of the iconic muscle car. Came together without great difficulty. Very pleased with it and the buying experience. LEGO never disappoints.

I've been building with Lego for forty years and I can say without a doubt that the Challenger set is one of the most clever builds I have ever had the pleasure of building.

When it came to the last step of the build, the pieces aren't sitting flush with one another and the windshield it totally not sitting flush with the roof of the car. Needs a new redesign.

I only enjoy Speed Champions so this review based on this, some new techniques used on this build to make it fit together smoother I would say. Didn't have any issues with building and bits falling off but I don't play with them, build for display only. The best thing by far though is the lack of a sticker sheet! You spend your time, building a lovely car and then are required to stick stickers on it and it's almost impossible to do this perfectly. Stickers already on the block and let us make sure we check the right block has been used in the right place, yes yes yes please. This way only going forward!!!!

This product was fun to put together until the final bag. the hood does not snap in and the dashboard does not clip in properly, making it impossible to level the top of the car together. I would suggest not purchasing unless Lego decides to fix the product and gives us a better quality finish.

I don’t know who the lead designer is on the Speed Champions line, but whoever they are needs a raise. I’ve been a fan of the street cars they’ve been putting out, whether it be the high end luxury ones like the Countach, the muscle cars like the Mustang, or the movie licensed cars from the Fast & Furious series. But this is without a doubt one of the most well put together models you’ve ever produced. The build techniques are insane for a 9+ set and the end result is practically seamless. And no stickers! All printed pieces. Definitely picking up more in the future and I cannot WAIT for what’s next.
